First, the parking here is $8 per day. There is a parking garage, so no worries about parking. Though the parking attendant didn't tell us, you could also go to Barefoot Beach once you pay $8 for the day. We found out from the parking attendant from Barefoot Beach. My wife and I got to this beach about 11am on Father's Day. It was so crowded that we had to set up our umbrella in a tight area. They had some tents that were fixed there, so you could be lucky to get those. The beach was nice, but also filled with shells. Though it was nice, I would go somewhere else if you are interested in a quieter area.

We went later in the day to let our son play in the water and wait until the sunset - a nice but very busy place to do so. We prefer the Pier are in Old Naples - not as many people and parking easier (at least we think so!) I also prefer not to see all the high rises but the smaller homes near the Pier.

Very small bathrooms and only a few foot baths/showers to use for a lot of people!

Parking could be an issue but we enjoyed this beach much more than Clam Pass Park Beach. You can valet your car at the Ritz and if you eat at Gumbo Limbo (looking out over the ocean) they will stamp your ticket so it's not as pricey. Chairs, umbrellas, etc. available to rent. Nice long beach to walk so if it gets too crowded near the entrance, take a stroll past Gumbo Limbo and find a nice quiet spot. Would highly recommend eating at Gumbo Limbo. The food was delicious and worth every penny as we relaxed with a drink as the sun went down.

Now that I know it's not to far from the house.. I visit Ritz for wine and jazz... plus their spa.. VBeach is a very quaint area.. lovely homes.. and great friendly folks.. things are in walking distance.. you won't be disappointed.. just remember you're in fl.. and it's hot.. so dress comfy in dress/slippers (women) ..men.. shorts and polo/button down.. lol.. enjoy!
