I recently went down to Florida to visit family and found this hotel online. I was pleasantly greeted by the hotel staff in the lobby. I was checked in promptly and given information about breakfast coffee, muffins etc. and happy hour in the evenings. The room was very clean and nicely appointed with cabinets, wetbar, refrigerator and microwave. It also had a nice flat screen television mounted on the wall. There were plush pillow-top mattresses that were extremely comfortable. Best hotel bed I have slept in since my last stay at the Westin. The room had a patio with a beautiful view of the marina. The hotel staff was fabulous and happy hour was a blast! My only complaint would be that housekeeping did not come in my room at all on the second day and some vaccuming was needed, but I did not call the front desk to request their services. They did come without request the next day. I would strongly recommend this hotel and its delightful staff.

Where do I start?? We absolutely loved this hotel! Right across from the beach, VERY friendly and helpful staff, and the rooms were wonderful! We stayed with our very active 2 1/2 yr old son and he had plenty of room to run and play. The beds were SO comfortable! Top of the line sheets and comfy pillows made it heavenly. The wet bar with small fridge/freezer combo, microwave, sink, and more than ample cabinet space was very nice to have! The entire room had more than enough storage space so we weren't tripping over our stuff. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the shower was nice. Our balcony looked over the bay side of the hotel and it was still a nice view. The pool was great. There was an exercise room, complimentary washer/dryer and computer on the first floor if you need it, free wifi, and a great outside sitting area on the 2nd floor to just hang out. The elevator was having issues while we were there but while it was just a smidge annoying, it was no big deal. The hotel staff would just reset it when asked and they had someone working on it when we left. In case they forget to tell you, they offer muffins, pastries, and coffee on the 2nd floor in the morning. Overall, we absolutely LOVED this hotel and would without a doubt stay there again. In fact, we liked it there so much that we ended up staying an extra night! We would absolutely recommend Treasure Bay for your beach stay!

What a great find!!! Beautiful rooms, very clean property, manager's reception with premium beer, wine, snacks and the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. Matthew was a blast and treated everyone like they were the only people there. The mood at this place is so happy. Why pay more on the beach when this place is directly across the street? It's just down the street from John's Pass (touristy, but fun). I could do without the Waffle House (we call it the Awful House). The food is nasty. I will stay here again, in a heartbeat.

By far one of the best hotels we stayed at. Many of the staff members gave us recommendations on where to eat and even got my friends and I discounts to go parasailing, and other activities around the hotel. The second we came here we had a friendly greet from Heidi who told us check in time wasn't until 3, although we arrived at 12. BUT she told us about a great restaurant called Foxys which is 2 minutes down the road, even in walking distance. The place was amazing along with the food! Cheap prices and many items for under $10.

The rooms are gorgeous with 2 queen size beds, a mini kitchen with a working refrigerator/freezer a microwave and a sink. The bathrooms are extremely clean with all of the amenities you could possibly need. Women leave your blow dryers at home. Brand new blow dryers that are not hooked into the wall. A full size conair blow dryer. Not one of those dinky ones that takes you a half hour to dry your hair. There is also an iron and ironing board in the closet with easy access. The beds were absolutely amazing. As soon as you hit the bed you will fall asleep right away. A flat screen tv and a balcony in each room with amazing views. Hurricane proof doors just incase. we recommend the Bay Side Room so you would not have to worry about kids being loud in the outside pool. There is a second floor balcony which on the weekends they host a managers special. Ask them about it, you will love it. The only problem is the elevator. Just use the stairs. With only one elevator it takes awhile to reach each floor.

The beach is literally across the street that has white sand beaches. Its very close to everything. Shopping at johns pass is five minutes down the road, and more shops right next to the hotel. We recommend Bubba Gumps which is right on the Boardwalk, you cant miss it.

Overall we had a blast because each of the staff members mentioned everything for us to do. If you ever have a question or need assistance with anything while staying at this hotel, ask for Heidi, Matthew, Nicholas, Westley, or Rick. Aside from the amazing front desk employees all of the house keepers are the nicest ladies you can possibly meet. They greet you each morning and every time you pass them, always asking how your day is going.

Overall nothing negative about this hotel. We recommend everyone to stay here atleast once at this hotel and enjoy the experience of a life time.

I just got back from spending the 4th of July weekend at this hotel with my girlfriend. I got the room for 100 bucks a night and thought it was a great value. The pool is small, but clean and nice. You do most of your swimming in the gulf anyway. It is right across the street from the public beach in Treasure Island. A Walgreens is close and there are some good restaurants in the vicinity. The rooms have been renovated and are quite nice. I definitely recommend getting a bay view, it is quieter and prettier. My only complaints are that the AC is a little loud when it turns on and the breakfast muffins are only O.K. Note that that it is about a 20 minute walk from John's Pass. This is convenient because the trolley is very unpredictable. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Although this appear (from their website) to be a nice hotel, it’s just an old hotel with some fresh paint and new furniture (recently remodeled). Decent rooms, but over-priced and you can hear everything that’s going on around you (above, and adjacent rooms as well as the hallway). “Breakfast pastries from the islands only bakery” were day old muffins that I had to spit out since it tasted so bad. The hotel is not on beachfront property. You have to walk across Gulf Blvd. to get to the beach. We had a room on the bay side, which was ok. Pool was nice and very warm...but no towels at the pool. No hair dryer in the room when we arrived, but the front desk brought one up right away. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.
