As a solo traveler (60ish female) I was a little worried about renting a motel room, since I normally rent a small house...I had a gulf front efficiency on the 2nd. floor and LOVED the view every morning from my very large window. I felt completely safe there and the bed was comfortable. The room provided everything I needed and if not the staff was very helpful. The pool was immaculate and nice and warm for early March. The only concern I had was there were no chairs for the beach and the towels have seen better days. The TV was older too but good enough. A lot of the units now have flat screens. I did not need a car since there was so much within walking distance...Very reasonable rates...can't wait to make my next stay longer! I will try one of the villas next time.
