Stayed here over spring break with my family of 4. We had a gulf view room which had a great view of the ocean (could see the view from master bedroom and from living room). Also, both these rooms have an entrance onto the balcony. We left the masterbedroom door open at night to be able to listen to the surf (very nice). The place was busy and the expected noise was present from all the action (though things did calm down by 10:00 p,m).
The unit was nicely decorated and clean. We didn't use the kitchen to cook (didn't want to cook and clean-up on vacation), but it was nice having the large fridge to store cold drinks and some ice cream treats and to have the sink and coffee machine and microwave.
Had breakfast at the on-site Cafe one morning and had a nice breakfast which included a tasty breakfast burrito. My older son enjoyed the wireless internet and sat on the outside balcony of the cafe communicating with his girlfriend and friends at home.
The beach is very convenient, well maintained and pretty. They have some cabanas on the beach (as well as beach umbrellas) with lounge chairs that you can rent by the day or the week. You can take long walks on the beach if you like.
Pools looked nice, but crowded, and we just stayed on the ocean (people start reserving lounge chairs at the pool early in the morning by placing towels on "their" spots - Anyone else get ticked at this??).
Overall, had a great time here and would recommend.
