Love to come here and sit by the window overlooking John's Pass. So much boat activity and dolphins. They have huge, wondeful hamburgers and delicious blackened grouper sandwiches. The french fries are some of the best.

Gators is one of the very best restaurants in the area for views of the water. There is plenty of outdoor seating, overlooking John's Pass. We love to sit and watch the boats and the birds. It makes for a very pleasant meal.

The food was good and the service friendly. The views are even better. Sit and watch the sun go down over the Gulf as you have dinner. You will remember your visit and the sunset for a long time.

The famous grouper sandwich was cold, bun was so hard couldnt even bite into it. It was smaller than a hamburger you get at McDonald's..Ordered a bud beer, 8.50 a bottle. Save yourself a 130.00. for three people,Go across the bridge and eat somewhere else. Service sucks too. Won't go back there again. .

Here's a tip. Keep your waitstaff from having multiple tables in multiple rooms on multiple floors so we don't have to send a search party for a refill.

Overpriced, and horrible service.

Decent food and view though--if you can handle waiting 20 minutes for your beer and then other 20 for them to ring you out.

I've been here several times. They've remodeled since the last time I was here. It's much improved. If you're a UF fan? Then this is the place for you. If not, oh well. For me, a vegetarian, not that great of a place. I have the Caesar Salad. Nothing to write home about, just average at best. The location is outstanding. Great views of John's Pass and the boat traffic. The service staff was good. I thought that the price se were a bit high for what it is. There's a reason that it's been a bit of time between my visits.
