We have visited Gators on a number of occasions over the years....... but we've just usually had a few beers while enjoying the weather and view from the balcony.

On our most recent visit we had two very nice meals on two separate occasions- Fish and Chips - which was positively enormous and delicious ( good job we decided to split it between us) and a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich which was again enormous and very tasty, which we again shared! On both occasions we were served promptly and courteously by very pleasant staff members who made us feel very welcome! Thank you Gators for a nice experience again - such a great spot to relax and watch the world go by.

My Friends and I stopped here one night for wings and Sodas. We were put outside around back, which was fine because the music inside was blaring. We go to the table which is sticky, and had to go get a rag to wipe off the BBQ sauce all over the table. So after @ 20 minutes a Waitress comes close enough to be waved down, and we asked for sodas and wings. Finally another 15 minutes goes by and our drinks arrive and the wings come 20 more minutes later. Now waiting for your order is ok , especially if they are busy, but there were only maybe 25 people there. most were inside drinking though. When we finally get our wings they were so bad, soft and gooey with a strong sauce poured all over them. All you could taste was the nasty sauce, my friends got wings fixed a different way form ours, and they were just as nasty. We ended up leaving most of the wings on the plate and going to find better food elsewhere. And yes, we did leave the waitress a tip. My Advise find anywhere else to get food! Sorry this place should stick to beer maybe..... Way bad!!

The food was good but it was loud and it was seat yourself. Unless you are a Florida Gators fan, don't go on a football game day because it was packed. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and watching the draw bridge. The kids had never seen one before!

Every time we're vacationing in Madeira Beach or the area, we make sure we eat here. We love their sandwiches and they have a huge menu. We've always been lucky that the weather is perfect so we can sit outside along the water. It's the perfect spot for watching the boats come and go and don't forget the dolphins! The last time we were there it just happened to be sunset and it was gorgeous. We watched the sun dip down into the gulf and it was a great experience. There was a band playing inside and it was piped outside so we could hear it too. Fun and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back our next visit.
