Description: We are proud to serve the freshest Gulf Seafood on the market. In addition we only buy wild caught seafood we will NEVER buy any farm raised seafood. Our kitchen is a fusion of The Gulf Coast; from New Orleans to the Tampa Beach Coast and their regional influences. Most of our Ingredients are Fresh from the Gulf and Florida. We don’t have walk-in coolers or big storage areas so we have to go to the market often to guarantee the freshness of our ingredients. In addition we offer 16 craft beers on tap many from the local area and New orleans

“Dissapointed”
Reviewed April 12, 2014 via mobile

This is a rather small place with a long bar inside and some cafe/cafeteria chairs and tables outside. We got a table outside and ordereda pork quesidella and a sub with slow cooked beef. The quesidella was pretty good, but nothing special. The slow cooked beef was dry, very dry. Staff was nice enough. Restaurant located in a mall area, not for your romantic dinners. I had hoped for more.

First off let me thank you for giving shrimpys a try and apologize that we fell short of your expectations. Most of our outstanding reviews are from people who try our house specialty (seafood). In any event if you do give us another try please ask for Richard or tom and we will make sure that you have an awesome dining experience. once again thank you for giving us a try and we look forward to turning your frown into a smile on your next visit

“Great Food.”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

This is a great little restaurant/bar. Great atmosphere, good tunes, great menu. Lots of beers to try but no liquor unless mixed with wine??? The food was absolutely fantastic you will not be disappointed in the quality or quantity, the only thing stooping this review from being excellent was the vibe from the owner and staff. It felt like we were being rushed from start to finish. this is a small space so I understand the need to turn over as many tables as possible but.............probably could be less obvious.

“Awesome!”
Reviewed April 11, 2014 via mobile

Rarely do I go to dinner and take a box home with leftovers. The staff were friendly and offerered advice when asked about menu selections. The price is about what you would expect for dinner out with a few drinks ran about $50 but the food was well worth the price. My wife had the Margarita and they were definitely not watered down! Good food, good staff, overall a great experience!

“yum and yum!!”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

visited shrimpy's for breakfast on our last day in treasure island. we ordered the croissant french toast (tasty) and the standard egg breakfasts, but i had the cheesy grits with eggs and they were the best i've ever had!! light, creamy and super flavorful, they were topped with crispy bacon bits, two poached eggs and green onions--OUT OF THIS WORLD (for grits, i mean ;) )!!!!! the service was attentive and pleasant. would recommend and would go back for those grits in a heartbeat!
