My wife and 5 year old just returned from a week here and loved it. It is as close to a resort that you can get. We had a 2 bedroom condo in Building 9, which was beside the pool. The condo was very large and both the master bedroom and living room had walkouts to the balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Also had washer/dryer, dishwasher and full kitchen with 2 separate eating areas.

The property is fairly large, but doesn't make you feel lost. The pool is very big and heated, and there are also 2 hot tubs nearby. The pool is not suited for really small children as the shallowest area is 3 feet. There is a nice boardwalk that surrounds the property and is great for a nice morning or evening stroll. The beach is beautiful. Very wide with nice white sand and tons and tons of shells!

We boooked through Resort Realty and they were excellent to deal with. Don't stay in a hotel.....stay here!

We came back from Land's End just now. The place is really amazing, as somebody already mentioned, it is a Land's END, the road ends just in front of the resort. The condo is nice, 10 buildings with balconies. Beautiful landscaping, seconds to the sandy beach (at least from our bldg.), pool is nice too. The online pictures show the resort as a big place, it is actually not that big, the pool looked bigger on the pictures too (no complaints though). Our unit was nice, clean, the beach toys and chairs were there too. There is no sun umbrellas on the beach, you need to purchase one ($7.00), we left our in the unit. Just to let you know that you have to purchase everything, even basics like sugar and salt, spices etc. You get the parking spot under your unit (it is not underground but more like a shared carport (about 15 cars fit it). The beach is very nice, great for kids, water is very warm, the feet shower is on your way from the beach. There is no crowd at all, in average about 20-30 people on the beach, comparing the public beaches which are really packed. There is one playground few blocks north but it is on a sunny place, so we haven't use it much. The closest store is about 1.5km away, which is not very convenient if you need to grab just few things. Big grocery stores are available too and the staff there is very friendly, they ask where you come from, how long you staying etc, I got a feeling that they really like the turists (specially the snow birds) and they try hard to please them. Overall our stay was enjoyable (as much as it could be with a 2.5 year old toddler) and we would for sure recommend it to anybody who prefers the quite and peaceful vacation. Zuzana from Toronto

Our condo was in building number 1 - 307. It was lovely but needs to be updated. The condo was large and the view was breathtaking. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and the condo grounds are immaculate. We booked our condo through Resort Rentals and if we stay there another time I think we will rent through one of the owners. We didn't have internet which was very disappointing - especially with my 15 year old.

I would definitely stay there again but next time rent an updated condo with internet!!

We decided to book Lands End Resort for our relaxing second week stay in Florida after spending a rather hectic second week at the theme parks in Orlando. I would definitely recommend Lands End as the perfect place to stay for a relaxing beach/pool holiday. We booked our accomodation directly with the owner through the website holidayrentals as you can save yourself lots of money this way and you can choose which condo you like from the owners pictures. Our condo was bay facing which did not worry us and was slightly cheaper to rent than the gulf facing condos. We found the condo extremely spacious for our family of 4 and well furnished with all you would possibly need during your stay. The condos are just a short walk around the wooden broadwalk to the beach (about as close as you can get!). We loved the beach as it was perfect for building sandcastles and for collecting shells and in October/November we almost had the beach to ourselves. We all loved the large heated swimming pool, which again was very quiet at the end of October, early November. The only problem we found was that the children were not allowed to play with any floats even though the pool was almost empty. The one exception was sausage floats as these were used by some of the retired owners and were classed as swim aids. In the evenings we enjoyed going to Caddys on the Beach for a burger, fries and a beer. It is just a short walk up the beach and they have tables on the beach where you can enjoy your meal whilst watching the sunset!

We just got back from a wonderful week staying at Lands End Condiminiums in Treasure Island! It is a beautiful place that really stood out as being "top notch" in vacation resorts. The condos are very modern, clean, roomy and comfortable. The views from the living room and bedroom balconies are beautiful. The landscaping and grounds are also very breathtaking. One thing we loved was the wooden deck that went all the way around the resort leading to the bay and around the gulf. It is definitely a great place to walk. This resort was very quiet and was at the end of the peninsula which offered a great view of the gulf and of the bay. My children were so delighted to see so many dolphins. The pool at the condo is very large and very clean. There are a lot of nice chairs around the pool and also lots of large tables with umbrellas. A security guard walks around a lot to check on everything .... especially the pool area. No floaties or balls are allowed in the pool. They have a lot of tennis courts, shuffleboard and a gorgeous gazebo that leads out to the beach. The only negative about this place is that you have to walk a little bit to the beach from the condo. It only takes about 3 minutes to walk there, but you walk over a beautifully landscaped bridge area, through the gazebo and out to the beach. The beach is very shelly. At first we were scared of getting our feet cut because of all the shells, but we got used to it. The shells are all beautiful, and it was really neat to see so many of them. If you have young children, they will love bagging up all of the beautiful shells. For things to do, I would recommend going to John Pass Village. A lot to see and do there. We went on a snorkeling and dolphin watch boating adventure. It was for 4 hrs. and was $30 for adults, $20 for children. Most of the restaurants are about a 10 minute drive, but there are some great ones, especially in the St. Pete Beach area. You can go parasailing for a reasonable price, deep-sea fishing, dinner sunset cruises, dolphin watch cruises, water tours, etc. The staff was all very friendly and accomodating there!
