“Great location”
Reviewed July 2, 2014 via mobile

This place is a little pricey but it's location is great . It's 2min walk to the beach and a shirt drive or 15 min walk to restaurants, bars, and shops. The pool area is great love that the resort has noodles and paddle boards the kids can use. The rental unit has everything one would need on vacation but I did notice a lipstick stain on our down comforter and our whirl pool bath tub's motors would not turn off stood on all night no button or instructions to turn off and it was too late to call someone up. Over all it was nice .

When we booked the hotel room, it was little deceiving.. the website made it seem like it was on the beach, when it actually was across the street from the beach. The pool area is very small, but new. Since I work in the real estate business, I immediately recognized this property as a condo-hotel.. in other words, the unit is privately owned but is being rented out as a hotel room. the room was very spacious with a full size kitchen and a spacious living room. The bedroom area was very spacious as well.
The bed was extremely soft and the pillows were very fluffy, these are very important to me.. the shower was a walk in shower, but the water pressure was terrible.. it took several minutes to get all the shampoo out of my hair! :) All in all it was a very nice room for the price.

Room Tip: request a pool view, as this is the same side as the ocean

We stayed here for two nights with family that flew in from Puerto Rico. I always do my research before staying anywhere and this place was exactly as it is mentioned on its website. Pictures did not lie, what you see is what you get. There was a tv in each room, the room is equipped with everything, except there were no pots/pans, not a big deal, we took our own. We had a corner unit on the 2nd floor, with great balcony space. Not much of a beach view, but maybe from a higher floor you will get a view. Beach access is across the street, we mainly used the pool. John's Pass is about 2 miles away, with great shops & restaurants. I highly recommend this place, we loved it and are planning to stay again in July.

We are locals and brought our nieces and nephews for a short staycation. We stayed two nights and of had more time off would have stayed longer.
The staff was friendly and had no problem checking in arrived about 11am and 1 room was ready so we got it. We stayed in the 2 bedroom on 3rd floor. We could see the beach and parasailers from the balcony. The condo was very clean and everything was new and visually appealing. Bedrooms were large. Great showers too.
We stayed by the pool during the day. In this heat we prefer to go to beach at night. Pool and hot tub were saltwater and well maintained. Staff frequently checked the levels. Pool towels available in lobby. Now this area is near road so you do hear the cars and trucks going by but the area is surrounded by lush palms so it felt private. Lots of lounge chairs and a few tables with umbrellas.
A .75 mile easy walk to John's pass.
Already planning our next stay.

This place was the last part of our 2 week holiday. We stayed on the 5th floor, which had an excellent view of St Petersburg beach. The room was lovely and spacious, very comfy bed. One downside was that it didn't have a safe for your personal belongings (eg passports). The area around the resort we found didn't have much to it, not many appealing restaurants nor much to do apart from the beach or supermarket shopping. We drove at least 20 miles a day to get to something for us to do. On our second to last day we found a slight dent in our car (a rental car), where someone clearly opened the door on our car and left it. A bit of an annoyance more than anything. Overall the place was really nice, the staff were extremely friendly. But the location didn't suit us.

We stayed here for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. It is not a cheap place, but you do get a lot for your money.

Room: Our 2 bed/2 bath 'room' was really an apartment. The pictures on their website represent the space well. Overall, it was clean, modern, upscale, very comfortable and well laid out. Very large and airy. Great balcony. Ocean views...what more can you ask for? Linens were good and plentiful. Nice furnishings. Full kitchen, well stocked and had soap, detergent etc as well. One small complaint: why only 4 dishes/forks/knives? It meant you ran the dishwasher frequently if you ate in. I wish they would double the quantities of china and silverware.
We did bring our own laundry detergent. Washing machine and dryer were a bit small compared to regular home models, but comparable to what one gets in other condos, hotels.

Location: On Gulf Blvd, right next to a crosswalk. Getting to the beach was an easy 5 min walk. You do have to cross the street, but with the crosswalk right there, it was easy enough. You may hear some traffic noise on a lower floor, but we were on the 4th floor, and heard nothing. Publix grocery store, Walgreens, restaurants nearby. Johns Pass was fairly close too.

Beach: Awesome beach...miles of white sand. Lots of broken shells in some spots. If you have young kids, get them beach shoes. Older kids and adults were fine. Water was crystal clear and warm. You could rent chairs/umbrella, but we just bought cheaper ones at Publix and used them wherever we went.

Service: I liked that our apartment was cleaned everyday! They made the beds and took out the trash. Check in was quick. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous.

Parking, pool etc: Never used the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. Parking was assigned, which we loved, and in the shade.

No gym or room service, but we didn't miss either!!

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and hope to return some day!

Room Tip: Higher floors will have better view.

Was in Treasure Island for a wedding and stayed here for 2 nights. Clean, realitively updated place. Across the street from the beach. The pool is small and located close to the road so it isn't very relaxing, but sufficient for a short stay. Really no complaints.
