This restaurant used to be called Wylder's, but after they went out of business, Blue Lobster took over and that's a good thing. Situated right on the intercoastal, the views are exceptional. This place has a Floridian feel to it (Beachy and casual) with a New England spin to the menu (NE clam chowder, lobster roll, etc.). The seafood is very fresh. The atmosphere is very casual and the wait staff was very friendly and responsive. Prices are a little above average, but not too high that you avoid the place. Don't come here looking for a long list of fish choices, because it's not plentiful (grouper and cod). However, these are hardly tough choices to select from. Other items on the menu calamari, oysters (blue point), clams, lobster (of course), micro brewery choices and an excellent view of the intercoastal. It's all outdoor seating, although most of it is covered in case of rain. The parking situation is a little "funky", because it requires a walk alongside a marina. (The parking lot and restaurant are separated by ~50 yards.) The restaurant does have a golf cart shuttle service to deal with this slight inconvenience. They have live music on selected nights. The dining tables surround a pool for all those wishing to swim..."Aaaah, no thanks." We've been there several times and we'll continue to go back. If you are looking for a plush "white table cloth" dining experience, this is not the place. But if you're looking for a relaxed place to eat fresh seafood by the intercoastal that is kid friendly, you'll want to try this place.
