“Amazing food, order out it's far too small and crowded”
Reviewed October 23, 2012 via mobile

I eat at Hog Snappers frequently but I always call in my order and take it out. My few experiences in house were noisy, slow and cramped. The food is outstanding. All of their specialty sushi is to die for and their famous hog snapper sandwich is incredible. Wait staff is inattentive and seems to rush you along to get more people in. I strongly suggest calling in so you can enjoy the food in the comfort of your own home instead of having to deal with sitting back to back with strangers.

“What's Going On!”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

I’m actually being generous with this rating….it used to be fantastic…since they have expanded they are losing many of the qualities that made it the place we would wait over an hour to be seated....no more consistency! The chowders that were so wonderful are now just a bowl of colored cream...no taste and definitly no fish! The fish tacos were delicious now they are dry and without the flavor that made you yurn for more....the crab cakes now are 2 thirds the size and stuffed with mostly bread,,,,and don't ever consider eating the ribs,,not here! What's going on!!!!! Come on guys....it's not even season yet and you guys are going to lose all your regulars!!! One thing ...you dont have to wait for a seat!

staff is almost rude and the food is terrible..really if you palate-deficit you will be ok..and no liquor made it intolerable ...

“Something for everyone!”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

Freinds brought us here. There was around a 30 minute wait at 6:00. The food was very good. I had a the gumbo and it was pure comfort food with lots of fish and a good bit of spice. We brought our 9 and 10 year olds and they were happy as well with pasta and hamburgers. They were stingy on the wine pour and I did something that I have never done and asked the waiter to take it back. Over all we had a great meal.

“My favorite place to eat”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

Love the Lobster Chowder! You can eat here very reasonably or go expensive depending on what you order. The crab crusted Hogsnapper dish is tasty and enough for two people. Every thing is fresh.
