“Wow...I wish every business had their service level”

Key Largo Bicycle and Adventure Tours
Reviewed August 3, 2013

Helped us tremendously on our family ride from Key Largo to Key West. Great advice. Gave us a very detailed map with fun side trips and stops, got us sticked up on water bottles racks bags, gave us emergency number if we needed. Someone else in their review said they felt like they had a "friend in the keys" with Mark and the entire staff and it is very true.

Wow! What a fantastic ride south through the Florida Keys. Prior to the ride he briefed me on the areas we would be taking breaks, as well as road conditions. He is the utmost professional, providing updates at each stop as well.

In addition, Mark is a super host, ride guide, and conversationalist-he had great stories about the history of every Key and many of the characters who inhabit them...fun, super day!

Brian provided SAG and was spot-on ready for us at each stop with water, coolers of fruit, drinks for hydration, and snacks. Very nice and personable as well.

It is a pleasure to give these gentlemen and the company they represent an outstanding review. 100 % awesome!

I read about the best ride in Florida in Bicycling Magazine and wanted to ride the 150 from Miami to Key West. After a little research found that the last 100 miles from Key Largo to Key West was the "Tenderloin" of the full ride. I have never been to the Keys and was looking for a good ride, an overnight stay in Key West and a ride back the next day.

I was looking for a place to rent a bike and stumbled upon Key Largo Bike Tour and Adventure. I could not be happier with the result.

After securing a friend for the ride we made a group of 6 pushing off from Tavernier Saturday morning. We were led by Tom who was a good biker, a nice guy and someone that knew the path very well. It was important as parts of the bike path were flooded, there was a good deal of road under construction and there were great, untraveled alternate roads that would have been missed.

The ride support was outstanding, we got a few flats and the sag wagon took care of them faster than any team I've seen. Most times we did not need call the cell, Charlie was already on the way. Our ride was in June and the temp's reached the mid-90's so having good rest stops and a well stocked cooler was necessary. A final stop for an iced coffee at Baby's Coffee before Key West was exactly what we needed.

Mark and the team were professional, prompt and well prepared for everything that headed our way. The ride was beautiful and the company was great. A couple of the guys were repeat customers which speaks volumes to me about the kind of business that they run.

My wife and I called from Buffalo NY to reserve bikes to ride from Key Largo down to Key West and back in early March 2013. We'd biked a lot, but never rented before and were a little nervous about how it would go. Within about 30 minutes they set us up with bikes that fit, panniers, locks, everything we'd need, explained the excentricities of the Trail, and told us to call if we needed anything at all. We felt secure and like we had a friend in the Keys if we needed one. He couldn't have been nicer. The trail itself was much more hard to follow than we expected, back and forth over a very busy US , and not in good shape a lot of the way. We rode 50 miles a day for 4 days and had a memorable experience. The Trail had its share of surprises, but the Key largo Bike shop was wonderful.

We wanted to go on a 40-mile ride while vacationing in Key largo. We rented from Key Largo Bikes because we could use road bikes for the ride. Mark set us up with a nice fit, maps, spare tubes, and plenty of sights to see. When my rear rim got out of line from riding over the many tree roots on the bike path, we called Mark and he came straight away with a new rear wheel. The bike path is not as smooth as we'd hoped, so don't plan for your normal pace. Otherwise it was a really fun day riding down the Keys. Be sure and check out Annie's Beach.
