This review is long overdue since we stayed in Oct 2013. I had planned to do something special for my dad's 75th b-day and I chose the Keys since my dad had never been there. I talked to the owner when I made the reservation and she beautifully decorated the rooms with confetti on a table surrounding the cake n happy b-day strings and a bottle of wine. She is a beautiful, cheery, high energetic young woman. She was in the process of getting this place remodeled and FYI her taste is phenomenal. I'm looking forward to visit again. The grounds around this property is beautiful n is a very tranquil place to relax

Beautiful, welcoming, relaxing. We booked for 2 nights & ended up staying for 3 & would have stayed longer if we could. Small but stunningly perfect in every way. We stayed in an efficiency room which was beautiful & spotless & had everything we could need. Comfy bed, lots of towels, toiletries & spare pillows. Great kitchen area with good size fridge freezer, table & chairs, Sofa & TV area, great wifi. Pool was like stepping into a warm bath, lovely modern sun loungers & soft fluffy towels were provided. Beach area was immaculate with sun loungers around, lovey promenade. Kayaks & paddle board great fun, fab snorkeling around the promenade & jetty. Loved the tiki hut with BBQ & prep area with bench to eat your spoils with a glass of wine watching the sunset. There were also portable bbq's on wheels which you could use anywhere you wanted. Large supermarket 1 mile away. Staff made you feel like they really wanted you to make yourself at home, kick back, relax & enjoy. We had planned to drive to Key West but could not drag ourselves away from this heavenly paradise. Will definitely return, the sooner the better!!!

Great one bedroom cottage...updated, clean, very comfortable bed, loved the shower and great kitchenette ....pool and grounds well maintained.....grills to cook outside are available as are very comfy chairs on the cottage deck, where you can watch a beautiful sunset...We met Ted the new owner who said there has been lots of updating as we can certainly see....
We would definitly return to this quite little paradise....

My sister and I stayed 2 nights at this private quiet retreat. We stayed in the multi-unit (#8). We were surprised to find it had a complete kitchen in it. It was very spacious. It was dated, but nice and clean (except for the couch, we put the blanket over it). It's my understanding that they will be remodeling the units. The one thing I wasn't happy about is - there was very poor lighting. The light in the kitchen didn't work and put the pole lamp from bedroom in the kitchen. There was 1 pole light in the living room and 1 bedside lamp in the bedroom. They provided no light in which to read under. So if you want to do any reading, bring your own light. The grounds were very nicely kept, the small beach area was raked and clean. I didn't feel like you could actually swim there because of the rock at the edge and all the plants in the water. They had a 2 man kayak and a paddle board (no charge) that you could use, but my sister wouldn't go with me, so I didn't get to do that. The pool looked nice, but we didn't have time to try it out. The bed was comfortable. I would stay there again.

We had room 12. It was quiet and somewhat quaint... no ocean view, but it's just steps away. It has a grill and nice sitting spaces on the beach. The room was a little dark with just one window, but that keeps it cool. It had a kitchenette. The staff was Florida Key laid back but helpful when asked.

We were in the smallest available room at Atlantic Bay (Heron), which was plenty for two people. The room was steps away from the private beach that looked over a nearby marina and open water. Although there was lots to do in Islamorada, most days we would try to come back to the resort to spend the afternoon on the beautiful beach where we could snorkel, kayak or paddle board. Looking forward to coming back next year:)

We stayed here prior to renting bikes at Key Largo Bikes and cycling to Key West. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Beach was clean and combed, with lounge chairs and shade, and a pleasing area for happy hour and morning coffee. We would stay here again.
