“A delightful park with a great trail, presentations, and events”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012

We've been to the preserve many times. The main trail is great but the additional trail lead-offs are usually closed either due to flooding or threat of fire. Would love to eventually take one of those trails one day.
Lots of great events, and native animals to see.
We even saw a bobcat there once! (Very briefly, before he ran back into the woods!)

“Nice peaceful park...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2012

When I went, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The boardwalks and nature trails wind through natural Florida at it's best. You can see plenty of wildlife if you are quiet and still.

~sigh~ I need to go back SOON!

I enjoyed this park. I would definitely go back. Plenty of wildlife to see with trails. Next time, I will wait until it is a little cooler.

This is a great park! I wuold recommend this to anyone especially if you are geo-caching! We didn't see very much wild life and did not stay long as it was really hot!

“Gators everywhere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2012

If you want to go to a park and see a gator you will probably see one here! Great play areas and a dog park also. Nice to grill out and hang with the family.
