It's a bar. Not a restaurant. And it's a must see kind of bar. They only serve beer & wine. But if your in Tarpon Springs it's just one of those places that you must see!

“Boat Club”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Traveled 40 min by boat, great sites along the way. After a long trip observed this shack along the river. This was the famous Boat Club. Watch your step on the dock and entering the bar. Only serve beer and wine. Its a place that you have to see and wouldn't want to miss. Would go back in a second. Don't know how they pass inspection but loved it.

“Only for the brave few”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

I wasn't sure how to rate this dive bar. It's unique for sure, one of a kind biker/boater bar, and may remind you of Tony's in Key West a bit. This is a tiny, hidden away local "place" that is hard to find. It is on a dirt road off of US-19, and on a salt water marsh canal. According to the owner, the place was condemmed, and he bought it for next to nothing, then anchored the building down enough to barely keep it from falling in the canal. It leans pretty heavily toward the canal, and the floors, walls, roof all lean. There are bras, business cards, and other writings all over the place. It has a pool table, outside "balcony" and boat dock. As you will see in the article below, it was named after the March 1993 no-name storm that washed a boat into a tree on the property, and the boat is still up there. There is a small wooden stove/fireplace inside used during winter.

There is a sign on the dock that says "use at your own risk", and you will see why.

Here is a recent article in the Tampa Bay Times that has photos too:

“Secret dive bar in Tarpon Springs”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

First of all, this is without a doubt the dumpiest bar in the world and the patrons like it that way (they are very friendly and colorful regardless), so keep this in mind before going on this journey. Besides the Howard Park island beach, this is a even more local secret I can share as the only way you will find it is if a local actually takes you there, preferably on a boat. This is a combination boater/biker bar that looks like its going to fall into the river at any moment, but you will never find anything else like it, which convinced me to post a listing for others to enjoy with the same adventurous mindset.
