My mother, two children and I spent four nights at this hotel... in a standard room facing the parking lot. Here are the pros and cons of our stay.
Pros: The hotel was conveniently located close to the medical center in which my mother was receiving treatment. The hotel provided a free breakfast that included cereal, waffles, toast, muffins and the like...; The parking was free and the room was extremely clean. There were a nice variety of channels available for viewing. The staff was extremely friendly and the exterior and public rooms were clean and very nice. Free WiFi was available.
Cons: The air conditioning unit was a single unit and very old. It made controlling the temperature of the room almost impossible. It was either freezing or sweltering...with no in between. Mold affected our sinuses during our stay. Not all of the furniture in the room matched, giving an almost cheap and outdated look. No mini-fridge or microwave in the room and the coffee maker was located in the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was very low. My children tried to swim in the pool but it was completely infested with all kinds of bugs. The breakfast was pretty much relegated to bread based foods. The hot items were waffles and a bagel concoction with biscuits and gravy even though a hot breakfast was advertised. I believe that they rotate items though. If you are gluten intolerant, then you are pretty much out of luck. The WiFi was available but only worked intermittently.

We appreciate your pleasant compliments and constructive feedback. We're glad to hear that your room was clean and you enjoyed the complimentary parking. However, we regret the unfortunate pest and mold issues you encountered. I can assure you these issues have been addressed and we would be happy to help alleviate some of your concerns. If you have a moment, please contact us directly.

Kind regards,
Crystal Wolfe

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for two nights, all five of us, in a suite which was plenty of room. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast staff was great and very attentive to keeping the area clean and restocked with coffee and food. Front desk staff was polite and check in fast. Kids swam in the pool which was clean. The Hampton Inn was better than expected and we will stay here the next time in Tarpon.

Room Tip: While our room faced 19 we really couldn't here the traffic over the A/C but if you feel traffic noise may be a bother ask for a room towards the back of the hotel.

This hotel is conveniently located across US-19 from Anderson Park (a great county park). It is easy to get to the Sponge Docks, downtown Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor, Clearwater, etc. The breakfast is very good....the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The front desk and staff are very accommodating. This is the hotel I recommend when someone comes to visit us.

I have repeatedly stayed at this hotel to visit family. It has always had a courteous, efficient staff with clean, well equipped rooms. Only disappointment is the walls are very thin and you can hear conversation in the room next to you.

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and never had one problem. It is located next to a busy highway, but we never heard anything. Our housekeeper Ana was great! Pillows and bed were amazing! The water didn't get as warm as I would have liked, but that was no problem.
