Currents looks more like an intimate New York restaurant but is located in downtown Tarpon Springs just off the Trail. I like the ambiance: white table cloths, low noise level, knowledgable waiters, and good food. Six of us had dinner over the weekend and Currents batted 100%. You can tell when people truly enjoy their meal. I usually get the meatloaf (as good as momma's) but sprung for the peppercorn crusted black angus New York with orange brandy sauce. It was outstanding! Ok, I'll be food critic and mention that the bread and side salad were tasty but not award winning. PS-- seating is limiited, i recommend getting a reservation.
