We made a stop at this Hampton the night before we were to leave on our family cruise in the Port of Tampa. This is a very nice Hampton, very clean with great staff. Our front desk staff's name was Sherrie, she was super. When we got there we had sandwiches we wanted to share with other family, she made sure we all had water and were comfortable. She was on the next morning, when we had to pick up our dtr at the airport, she offered to send the hotel van for her even though she was not staying there. She encouraged us to bring her back for breakfast. Breakfast was over when we arrived but she made sure they all had" breakfast on the go bags." She did not have to do any of those things but she did and made our stay so enjoyable. She is a credit to the Rocky Point Hampton Inn.

Room Tip: We have never had a bad room in a Hampton.

Sherry is the BEST!!!! Great staff and very clean hotel. Bahama Breeze within parking lot walk and local food market open until 11 less than 1/4 mile from hotel. We visited Busch Gardens and had easy travel time to and from park/hotel.

i had made a reservation on july 5th 2013..as things changed i had to call and cancel..the person i talked to said ok no problem we wont charge your card as you have not checked in offically therefore it wont go thro..ok thank you i said and have a nice day..now i look at my bank account and i get charge for a room i didnt use or sign for nor did i get a confirming email showing i had canceled the room..i dont feel i should get charge for something i didnt use.

I am very sorry that you were incorrectly billed as a no show after attempting to cancel your reservation. I want you to know that I went back into your record and adjusted off the charge and put those funds back to your card. I hope we get to see you in the future.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and bed was comfortable providing a good night's sleep. There was a good restaurant within a short walking distance from the hotel.

Clean, friendly, efficient staff. Quick to accommodate if early or late check in is needed because of flight. Room and facilities very clean inside and out. Short walk to dining and water views. While eating nearby on the terrace we saw 2 dolphins playing. I highly recommend this hotel.
