I dined with two other adults and two young children for a late Friday lunch. The place was not busy at that time but we waited an inordinate amount of time for our food, with no explanation or apology from the waitress. When the food finally arrived, the two orders of stromboli were black on the bottom. We shortly pointed this out to the waitress when she inquired as to how everything was. She did not offer to take the food back and we did not request this due to our long wait. The stromboli was otherwise tasty. My husband's cheesesteak came as two huge sandwiches -- apparently a long sub roll cut in half. He promptly devoured it. The children's spaghetti came with a huge meatball and lacked sufficient sauce, that we supplemented with the marinara sauce accompanying the stromboli. Following that supplement the child greatly enjoyed it. The other child also enjoyed his large serving of pepperoni pizza. Although we did not otherwise order pizza, there were many pizza choices along with sandwiches and even hamburgers.
The police and predominately New York décor are interesting to peruse and there are TV screens. The restaurant location near the cruise ships and aquarium is terrific. Be advised that the restrooms are "one-holers", for those who have urgent needs. I would definitely give this place another chance, on the assumption that at the time of my visit they were having an "off" day.
