“Better than expected”

I am Hilton Diamond member and stayed for single night on points and dollars stay. Location was great for walking to Stadium for game. It was about a mile but much better than dealing with the traffic. Hotel was very clean. Person working the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. We wanted to grab a quick bite and she opened early for us.

Rooms are average size with comfortable beds. Flat screen TV with HD channels. Bathroom was VERY small. Everything in room was nice and clean. The ac was a bit loud for central air. At least it wasnt a wall unit. Wifi was strong and fast. Free for Diamonds.

I was given a couple certificates to use at restaurant for appetizers as it was a Satruday and the Honors lounge was closed. Thought that was nice. Did get comp breakfast in lounge next morning and small but good selection of items. Did have eggs and ham and cereal.

Wouldnt call the room exactly an upgrade but nothing to complain about as they were full. They do have a shuttle that will take you within a couple miles of the hotel but I did not use it so not sure how that was. You could also walk across the street to the mall if you wanted. Bunch of restaurants there and bars.

I would stay here again if in the area. Parking is free and location was great.

This Hotel is conveniently located a few minutes away from the airport and within walking distance of the International Plaza shopping mall.

We went to this hotel twice during our trip, once when we landed in Florida and the day before our departure back to the UK.

Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful: the day we checked in, their system went down but it didn't stop them assisting us in the process. We were offered complimentary drinks whilst they were checking us in "manually" so to speak.
When we returned, they remembered us and offered a further round of complimentary drinks as the room type they had given us initially was incorrect (but knowing how difficult it is to work without the systems we didn't say anything).

The rooms were big and very confortable, had a great night sleep after our many hours of travelling.

We only used the bar for a few minutes, the barmaid was very friendly and served quickly. Sadly we did not use any of the other facilities as the magnetic pull of the International Plaza shops and restaurants was too great for us to resist.

The Hotel has a shuttle that goes on a circuit via many locations including the airport and said International Plaza, the shuttle leaves every half an hour on the hour and is available on demand later on in the day.

I will only mention one negative point and that is their air conditioning unit which sounded like a jumbo jet about to take off, saying that, the off button was easy to find.

For this amount of confort, convenience at such an affordable price, this is a Hotel I would strongly recommend to anyone using Tampa International Airport as a hub for their holiday.

The location is nice if you need to get in and out of the airport easily but somewhat remote from anything else. There are some good restaurants nearby and a mall within walking distance. The Hotel is fairly basic but offers what you need for a quick business trip. The pool is nice and the breakfast buffet was good. The staff was very nice and even paid my cab ride since their shuttle was very busy and couldn't get me from the airport right away. They shuttle service was great and dropped me off at the airport when I flew out. The room was nice and quiet and offered a nice desk to work from. Overall I'd recommend this hotel.

I generally spend about 12-15 nites in hotels each month. Service from front desk was subpar and asked if hotel van could provide a lift to hospital 2.8 miles away. Was told by clerk at front desk and van driver Fred that it was outside of their 3 mile radius. Very unaccomdating. What makes it even more comical is the pin that the front desk clerk was wearing "WIT" (Whatever It Takes).... Would not recommend staying here due to lack of courtesy and very unaccomodating.

This is a typical mid range airport hotel - there are several restaurants within walking distance, a 24 hour gym, the staff are excellent, room is as expected and a nice pool to take advantage of. They also have a complimentary shuttle that will run you too the airport or anywhere else in a circa 3 mile radius of the hotel. Would use again if in Tampa. Complimentary parking.

Room Tip: Try and get a room on the 11th or 12th floor these are the only rooms with balconies - even numbers...

After returning our rental car at the airport, I called the hotel for shuttle pick up and they arrived within minutes! This was also the case when we asked to pick up at the Westshore mall. Shuttle response is fast and friendly.
The room given to me was good. However, the air conditioner noise was very, very loud. On several occasions I was waken up at night. Good thing we've only stayed one night. Since we arrived on a Friday, the executive lounge was closed in the evening during weekends. We were given a drink and appetizer voucher that we can order from the lobby café. The hotel restaurant for some reason did not open on the Friday when we checked in. We walked across the street where there were a few restaurants, including a steak house. Shuttle service will take guests anywhere within 2 mile radius, including the Westshore mall.
The hotel pool was refreshing and there is a hot tub as well.
Hotel service was good and responsive.

I have stayed here a dozen times. I have never received a king bed, a high floor, or a room away from the ice machine (despite me being a Hilton Honors member and booking those requests every single time). The last visit they booked me into a handicap accessible room and said there were no other rooms despite the fact that four people checked in behind me. I just find them to be so unaccommodating. I'm switching to Hyatt - just want a better experience.
