I stayed there one night on business, however here goes:
1. True, (as pointed out in another review) the bathroom is odd, and very small so the toilet encroaches a bit on the area to stand near the sink. I suspect the hotel is dated and probably the bathroom should be a little bigger and the rest of the room could have been smaller. Overall, I found it to be acceptable under the circumstances.
2. The water is not very hot in the shower as I think was also pointed out in another review, again I found it to be acceptable, though not optimal.
3. Check in was flawless as was valet parking.

5. I paid about $120 for the room ($130 with taxes) and about $20 for valet parking. Considering the downtown location and opportunity to earn points towards Hilton program, I consider this a fair price. It was a Saturday night stay and with AAA discount.
6. The bed was very comfortable as were the linens.
7. I did not have a chance to use the amenities.
Hope this helps. If I have to stay downtown Tampa again, I probably would stay here.

Very friendly hotel staff. Extremely comfortable and clean room. One negative is no free wifi in room. However, we did take advantage of the free business center for internet access. The breakfast was delicious with excellent service. The valet service was really quick even on a busy morning. This is a great hotel to stay in downtown Tampa.

Rude service at the front desk. Clean, boring rooms.

And the worst part was waking up to a room adjacent to me using the bathroom twice (very loudly), and mass toilet flushes. When does that happen at a hotel??

They couldn't get my reservation correct. No vent in bathroom causing extreme fogging. When door is opened, steam releases into room causing temperature changes. Daily charge for internet! What! Transportation to The Forum for graduation was a debacle. One teeny waste basket in the bathroom, none in the room by the desk. They were in WAY over their heads with everything. I'll NEVER go back.

This Hilton did not meet our expectations as the rooms was not cleaned and serviced well. All surfaces had a layer of dust and the furniture has stains. The bed linens were poor quality as well. I would not recommend staying here!
