So few know of the trail--it only opened at the end of Summer 2013--but it's a great and worthwhile place to just visit; or take a stroll, get in a power-walk, ride your bike, run, or skate. The western and eastern portions of the bike-and-pedestrian only trail exists on the land formation on which the Courtney Campbell Scenic Causeway rest, while another part--the part that is elevated above beautiful Tampa Bay--is a lovely-designed, aesthetic bridge. Bring water and sunscreen, especially in the summer months, and enjoy a great walk in a lovely area. On the western side, there is ample parking on both sides of the auto causeway with plenty of places for ingress and egress. Parking is free. Dog are permitted and the county provide green bags for clean-up.
