“The best part of Tampa”
Reviewed March 6, 2012

We may be partial since we live here, but this is by far the best part of Tampa. Not only is it gorgeous, but there are countless independent restaurants and shops to explore. Just be warned, once you visit you won't want to leave.

“Lots to do but depends on your timing....”
Reviewed March 6, 2012

South Tampa can be a really nice experience. Your timing has to be right though. The core of south Tampa on Howard Ave tends to become congested with a huge thrawl of college students and young adults in their quest to over imbibe. If you can beat the rush which usually starts around 9ish you should be good. There are numerous restaurants and places to enjoy some drinks but I tend to avoid the area in the later hours due to the traffic, car break-ins, stumbling drunk people and teens that like to drive up and down the streets with their car stereos at max volume. Being a young profesional I grew out of that phase when I was 24.

“My Home Is Ideal for Everything”
Reviewed February 24, 2012

I've lived in South Tampa (the Interbay) for 40 years and I can't think of moving. Since its a peninsula - by 6 pm all the day-trippers have left and the street traffic is good.

South Tampa has SOHO (Tampa's best restaurant district), the best two malls in the entire Tampa Bay area, and lots of old time family firms. In 10-15 minutes I can get downtown or to Ybor City or to a Bucs game.

No part of Tampa is so convenient and classy.

“A little haven in the city”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

South Tampa is very unique and one post probably isn't enough to describe this little gem in Tampa. If you like being close to city amenities like the airport, great shopping and fine dining but still a quiet neighbrhod feel then south tampa is where it's at. I love Sunset Park, Beach Park areas for their neighborhood vibe and convenience. Go on a bike ride through the streets onto Bayshore and enjoy!

“Beautiful”
Reviewed February 2, 2012

South Tampa has it all!...Great restaurant's, coffee shop's, specialty grocery store's that know how to cater to the well-to-do!...Bayshore Blvd, the place to run, bike, and rollerblade. The neighborhood's are gorgeous, and near by is Hyde Park, another well-to-do favorite! This area show's Tampa, fl. at it's best!
