We were visiting from out of state and treated our extended FL family to dinner at Tia's. The food was good and plentiful, and the service was fine. The atmosphere was just ok. We customarily tip 20% for good service and did so this night. Looking back on it, the bill was higher than expected. Since we don't generally eat out with large groups of people, we are not used to the tip being automatically added to the bill. I'm not certain of this, but it is quite possible that we tipped twice (a considerable amount each time as the bill was for ten people). Servers and restaurants should be required to tell patrons if a tip is automatically added for larger parties.
