Went there on a Friday afternoon/evening to try something different with the Hubby. We had both worked a long week, and had driven by several times, and had heard decent things. I went in, and the bar was full, so the hostess said the bar tables were open seating. I sat there for at least 10 minutes, while no less than 7 servers walked past me. I finally had to waive one down that was walking past, and ask for a menu, and if I could get something to drink. It was pretty sad if you ask me.
Once our server got to us, he was actually VERY knowledgeable, yes, but when you are drinking beer, I am sorry, you need some snacks to go with it. The cheese/charcuterie plate that we ordered was grocery store style sliced salomi with some melba toast. I mean, if you are going to buy publix food and pass it off as your own, at least buy the better stuff. This menu needs a serious dose of some gourmet nachos, some fried mac n cheese, or SOMETHING to help it out. Lastly, please get some legit menus that aren't printed on your home inkjet printer. I am all about keeping costs down, but if you can't even commit to your menu items, how do we know this restaurant is even going to be here to stay?
Needless to say, I would have been happier with a decent happy hour special at a different place that had consistent food, or heck, even a proper menu.
Beer = excellent though! Definitely worth a try.
