My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary at someplace different, so we selected Coopers Hawk. Our experience started as we walked in the front door. We were greeted by a friendly server of wine samples. She offered us samples, introduced us to the wine bar and gave us some good information. We then moved to the tasting bar, where Marina walked us through two tastings. We tasted a number of nice wines and ended up joining the wine club. We the proceeded into the main dining room for supper. Our server was Stephanie, who was very good. She was attentive and gave us plenty of time and space. We started with two appys, lettuce wraps and stuffed mushroom. They were plated beautifully and tasted greet. Our entrees were pistachio crusted grouper and chicken saltimboca. They looked great and tasted delicious. Because of our anniversary, they served us a pretty plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a lollipop of chocolate cake. Yumm. If that wasn't enough, we ordered a peanut butter cookie with ice cream. It was served in a small cast iron skillet with creamy vanilla ice cream. A great meal, with outstanding service. We will definitely be back!

Went to the Cooper's Hawk with 6 friends and had a nice time. The bar is large, busy, and noisy. We were seated fairly quickly as we had reservations. If the weather is nice there is an outside patio (t was pouring). The drink pours are large and priced accordingly. The calamari was cold and soggy. Soups/Chowders good. The pretzel bread is exceptional. The bacon wraped and grilled scallops and fish were very good. The jumbalaya was "interesting" with a sauce on the bottom with too little chicken and sausage, rice piled in the middle, but had a large number of shrimp circling the plate. A nice shrimp dish, but nowhere the taste of a good jumbalaya. Waitress from Boston area was exceptional, fast and friendly. Too full for desert. Will return.

I came here for lunch and can't wait to return for dinner to try more dishes & some wine. The menu is large with choices from salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, pasta, to entreesWe shared a few appetizers/small plates and all were tasty and had a creative twist. The Thai chicken flatbread was crispy and savory. Loved the Mexican shrimp with bacon and guacamole, and also the lettuce wraps. Service was quick and attentive. The decor is better than the average chain but not unique.

We'd had Cooper"s Hawk delivered and even with travel the food was very tasty (except the calamari which have a thick tempura do not travel well) - so last Snday night six of us went for dinner. The location is on a restaurant row of sorts in Tampa on Boyscout Rd. it's a pretty place and there was a bustle of people in the retail space and the bar was full (about 730). Our table was ready when we arrived and the dining room was less crowded. They have abundant space including an outdoor patio area.
Our server was attentive and the cocktails - my friend had a delicious margarita and I had a drink called El Doctor that was a martini with tequila, agave and Cointreau - were terrific. The calamari was better in-house but ultimately the tempura make them too heavy. They have gluten free options and a "healthy" section of items under 600 calories. Food was all excellent and they have an assortment of chocolates for dessert. These are also sold in the store.
I found the various selections of wines we tried overly young/sweet in fact as a whole. The flights offered for dessert wines we not interesting but rather sugary flavored wines like pomegranate, raspberry, etc. The exception to this was the "deluxe" Cabernet that was more unctious and complex.

Classy & unique atmosphere & concept. Food was amazing & management stopped at every table to make sure patrons were happy. Wonderful experience.
