This Sweet Tomatoes is exactly what you would expect from an excellent salad+ restaurant. It doesn't pretend to be gourmet fare, just good food in a clean, pleasant atmosphere. The instructions are simple: grab a tray and plate, and proceed down past a long line of specialty salads, fresh vegetables, and toppings, gathering your favorites along the way. Next stop is at the bread and focaccia station to load up on goodies. If you still have room on your tray, there are pasta, baked potato/rice, and soup stations. The soups are some of the best available in the Tampa area. There are usually 6 or more different types available every day. Since this is a buffet, anything that you weren't able to gather on your first grazing, can be picked up on your subsequent trips. All of the various food stations are constantly being cleaned and re-stocked. The only one which has a difficult time keeping up is the bread station. A great ending is the dessert area which has a self-serve yogurt sundae bar and various fruits. After 4 PM, cobblers and lava cakes are usually available also. I've tried four other Sweet Tomatoes locations in Florida, and this one in Carrollwood is by far the best.

Went at lunch time with friends. Salad bar was extensive and beautifully displayed. Soups looked homemade and I wished I had room to try multiple choices. Did not try baked goods or pasta section but others did and expressed being happy and content with selection and quality. Soft serve a nice touch and several in my group loved tapioca pudding and mousse selections. All in all a great opportunity to eat a healthy and yummy meal.

We have a salad buffet place here in MN called Q-cumbers that we like so we tried here...the salad selection was very basic, there was no pasta bar or even pizza ..just salad and soup..I tried 3 soups and only the beef barley had any seasoning in it... I think if you wanted to eat healthy (?) and like bland it would be an OK place. the 4 cheese focaccia bread was pretty good but I didn't want to make a meal of it.

Awesome salad bar! And homemade soups! Pastas and pizza isn't too good. But I will definitely go back for soup and salad.

For Quick fresh food you can do no better, plus it's cheap. The choice of salads are huge and they are all delicious, add warm breads and hot soups, top off with Iced Pomegranate Tea, if I lived here would probably use every day. Thoroughly recommend.
