“Fresh, Quality Salads, Pasta, & Soup Buffet Priced to Compete with Fast-Food restaurants!”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

We make a yearly trip to Tampa and stay near this restaurant. It is a serve-yourself buffet of salad, soups, pasta, breads and dessert. They offer the most diverse selection of any single restaurant serving this type of food, including options for vegetarians and vegans. The ingredients are fresh, fresh, fresh! It is an "all you can eat" meal that is reasonably priced, with decreasing prices for senior citizens and children. Some salads are prepared (i.e. Caesar Salad, Broccoli Salad....) and you have unlimited access to anything being served in the restaurant. Outside of the typical negatives of a buffet-style restaurant (people popping up/down during a meal, having to serve yourself, etc.) this is an outstanding, healthy option that is reasonably priced and competitive with most fast-food restaurants.

“Great place for lunch”
Reviewed March 5, 2013 via mobile

My first to this cafeteria style place. You load you plate with salad and then pay and move along into the seating area. Many options from soups, pizzas, pasta station, dessert bar, sundae bar....many choices for all. My favorite was the pasta station. A nice chain that I see growing.

“Healthy and Tasty Food”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

We go to Sweet Tomatoes at least once a week. If you are on a diet, you can still eat a belly-full without taking in too many calories. Everything is fresh and tasty. The soups are great, but watch out for the sugary and fatty deserts, but they do have fat-free frozen yougurt, and sugar free mouses. They have very good SMALL muffins, not like the 600 calorie monsters found in convenience stores. Seniors eat for a low price Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 4 for about $7. If you are in the club, you get a free meal on your birthday,

“A Fun Place to Eat”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

Sweet Tomatoes is a dangerous place for me. The salad bar is incredible--a great variety of salad items. The food bar is equally excellent. Their muffins! They have baked potatoes, rice, several kinds of soups, including a very tasty chili. Put soup or chili over your rice or potato-it is really great. The dessert section is my downfall. There is fruit, but the soft ice cream with toppings is where I end up. The price is good for the value. Generally there is no problem finding a seat. This is the one restaurant I have to be careful about--the food is so good, and you can go back as often as you want. It is fun and the atmosphere is relaxed. Needless to say, it is a busy place, and I really enjoy it.
