My husband and I had lunch at Oxford Exchange in late May. To begin with, it is in a beautiful space and great location (across from University of Tampa and close to downtown). The architect and designer have done a beautiful job with the space - I would say it would fit beautifully in NYC. Anway, it is not only a restaurant but also a lovely bookstore, homeware store and a place to have tea or coffee.

The restaurant itself has two seating areas - one in an atrium and the other in a main room. We sat in the atrium which was beautiful and bright.

Now for the food - my husband had the turkey club which was filled with a nice amount of turkey which was fresh and moist along with all the other goodies (avocado, tomato, swiss, etc.) and served on a grilled piece of bread - he really enjoyed. I had the steak sandwich which was ok only for the fact that the steak was a bit tough and the bread ended up soggy but the flavors were very good. We had sides of the french fries and sweet potato fries both of which were also very good. A little bit of a disappointment is - no alcohol - but they have a great and creative selection of tea drinks.

We would definitely go back! (open for breakfast and lunch only)

The food, the decor, the tea!
My favorite lunch experience in all of Tampa!
You won't be disappointed by the food or the service.

I loved the eclectic feel of the place.

The Oxford Exchange is one of the newer venues in Tampa, and my thoughts place it a definite cut above. Offering a Library with a great selection of books, Buddy Brew coffee for the coffee lover and novice, Te Bella right across the way with an amazing assortment of herbals and leaf to offer, plus a gift shop extraordinare.

Upstairs is a complete business center for the chance meeting, or to catch up on emails. No Wi-Fi downstairs. You'll notice a bright atrium just off to your right and now you are about to discover one of the best places to eat in Tampa. The Bistro, or at least that was the name the last time I was there.

Organic menu items, and first class preparations by Chef Erin Guggino. Take any part of that menu and it is just first class. Jams made in the kitchen to momentarily decorate some warm, tantilizing breads just before they are devoured. Juices that you would swear came right from the juicer, with all the flavor intact.

The staff is super and the service is excellent, even when they are packed which seems to be every time we are there! Saturdays are a definite get there early day.

The Oxford Exchange is a story in itself, converted from what was the horse barn at one time as it served the hotel across the street that is now the University of Tampa. Much has been preserved in the walls, and it's been about being as green as possible.

The real back story is that the owners are a couple of kids from a local fast food dynasty in Tampa, and this could not be more diametrically opposed to that concept, and more welcome. Their passion is evident in every single aspect. You need to get the story for yourself, but the experience is an absolute must.

I LOVE coming to Oxford Exchange on Fridays to have tea, and it's also nice to grab some coffee in the morning every once in a while. Basically, this coffee shop is a combo of coffee shop/tea shop/restaurant/book store/gift shop/lounge. The coffee and tea are delicious, with many tea and coffee options at a reasonable price. The book store is quite lovely and decorated, with seating area and a wide range of books. The gift shop is quite pricey but it's fun to look at, and if you have the money it's great for presents for other people. The restaurant is a little expensive but the food is tasty and service is nice. Another awesome this about this place is the ATMOSPHERE. It just looks chill and fancy at the same time. You will see a mix of people, from business people to students to residents to tourists. Again, I love coming here for whatever - tea, eating, coffee, reading, studying, hanging out.

Delicious sandwiches, amazing atmosphere and very sexy. A great new place for brunch with the girls or a coffee or tea delight. Grab a book, or a table and enjoy this tantilizing experiences for the the senses. The design is gorgeous and was more of an experience than just a meal. The sandwich I had was a breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese, and bacon. The bread was grilled to perfection! Bacon was yummy! The juice was actually fresh squeezed, and the coffee drink was full bodied, flavorful, and rich! All served with class and elegance. Can't wait for trip #2.
