A must see restaurant. I have held off reviewing this restaurant because it's too beautiful to not be good. Unfortunately the food needs fixing as does the sound quality of the restaurant. First visit cold grilled seasonal veggie salad. It turned out to be eggplant with onions. I liked eggplant but this was not good. Second visit Cobb Salad. It was good except for the undercooked very, very fatty bacon. Third visit Cobb Salad again. Same bacon problem. Fourth visit afternoon tea at $36 per person it better be fabulous. Chicken salad sandwich was good. Egg salad sandwich was good. Cinnamon scone ok. I prefer Panera bread scone. Overall, I will go again because it is the in place right now. Management is saying its working on the sound problem. If you get a chance, sit in the side room. It is quieter but sunny so bring sunglasses. Management ditch the eggplant and fatty bacon. Even MacDonalds has better bacon then you! RESERVATIONS STRONGLY SUGGESTED EVEN FOR LUNCH!

What a beautiful location. Über sophisticated atmosphere without being stuffy. Great afternoon tea. Decent prices. Nice addition to Tampa. Like nothing else in town.

Went there for breakfast. Prices are normal for South Tampa. Portion was quite large. Grits were outstanding. Ordered the 3 egg breakfast with sausage, potatoes and grits. All good - too much food for me though. Could have easily split the plate with my husband. Coffee was extremely good. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and he said it was very good as well. Our server Cory was professional, friendly - great guy.

I highly recommend this as a meeting space for coffee or tea, but not for breakfast. This architecturally wonderful space deserves a quality chef. Out of our group, no one was overwhelmed with their food - waffles were fair, omelets were flat (served with plain toast), bagels & salmon used refrigerated bagels with herbed cheese spread on as thin as butter & topped with pickled onions. The kitchen could not keep up with the demand, & it took over 40 mins. for our food to arrive. Even then, some items were missing (fruit for the oatmeal had been requested, biscuit with omelet was missing). Please, please Ox. Ex. - hook up with a local bakery & serve fresh pastries & bread! Staff was friendly & polite, but slow. If only Pane Rustica were in this space - now THAT would be amazing! I'd be there twice a week!

Fresh food served in a beautiful atmosphere. This is not a place to swing through for a quick stop; it's a place to experience and savor.
