During my recent visit at Ho Ho my friend and I tried their hot pot (aka shabu shabu). We thought the actual food and menu selections were just okay but the restaurant was really clean and the customer service was great.

Sadly, this place has gone downhill over the past few years. We used to love coming here for a great Chinese meal. We went last week. The service was slow. It used to be excellent. The food was average. It, too, used to be excellent. Maybe it was just a bad night....

Met my local friend here on his recommendation. This place is unassuming in the middle of a strip center in a diverse working class neighborhood, and clearly it is frequented by locals. If a place like this is staying in business successfully, there must be a reason. We ordered and split 7 selections from the dim sum menu and all were freshly prepared, promptly served, hot, and delicious. Highly recommend...don't let the neighborhood deter you.

We are from Orlando and we have our usual favorite place we get Dim Sum in Orlando. But, we were staying in Tampa for the night and craved Dim Sum. Some items were better than our place in Orlando. The steamed pork buns are so yummy and the meat isn't fatty. As for the worst item we purchased, it was the sesame balls. They were oily and had barley any filling in them. We will be back to try the "American style" Chinese food and the sushi next time we are in town!

Asked for Pepper Beef and it had to many peppers besides that it was excellent. Staff food atmosphere everything was great. I'm not from China but worked for a fine Chinese Restaurant, and this place HoHo Choy is an awesome place to dine.
