We visited last week while on vacation. It is a great local joint. Crowded at lunch time but oh so worth the wait. I would recommend calling ahead and just get it to go.

I kid you not the Cuban sandwich is awesome. Empanadas were delicious.

Really friendly staff. Lots of locals eating here which is always a good sign.

This place is like the Cuban version of the TV show "Cheers". I have been going there 3-5 times per week for either breakfast or lunch for the last 7 years and I never get tired of it. The patrons are like one big family and the staff is always entertaining. Mario is always there to greet you with a big smile and a cup of the best Cuban Coffee in town. Sometimes the line is out the door but its always worth the wait!

This restaurant was seen on a couple of travel channel tv shows, so we thought we'd give it a try. The prices were very reasonable - about $3 for a beef empanada (which was yummy). The cuban sandwiches were also tasty. The parking lot is free but the space is very small - many people parked on the street. The restaurant was small, but the tables seemed to turn often. The waitress was very friendly & the owner greeted all who came in.
