We rode 2x from Marriott Waterside to Ybor City. $5 to ride all day.
Good clean transportation.
We figured we would have paid at least $5 to park - so it was a good deal.

The streetcars are great looking and well-maintained, but they don't start running until noon. Also, the lines they have are good but need to be extended even further throughout Tampa, Ybor City, and maybe even St. Petersburg. System for purchasing tickets was easy to use and priced okay. Doesn't appear to be used by locals, which would be increased by expanding the lines and hours of operation. All that said, it was a good experience and a great way to see part of Tampa and the river/channel area.

The line goes from in front of the downtown Marriott Waterside hotel into Ybor City (pronounced eebor) for a nice ride passed the cruise ship docks and a mini tour of Tampa's downtown. The cars are actually rebuilt from the originals from the 1920's? The fare is reasonable and I have heard they're thinking of dropping the fare all together giving you a free ride. Oh, the cars are air conditioned.

The Streetcar is overpriced and slow, it's a cute addition to downtown but isn't really good for anything.
