This was a trip for 2012 kick off. We have visited the Hard Rock casino before and enjoyed playing the slots. We just wanted to enjoy New Years with family and friends. After win some lose more (LOL) our plans were to have lunch at the Fresh Harvest, because we heard the buffet was outstanding with 7 different stations to chose. However the line was really, really long. So we opt for the Cafe downstairs, which was a great choice. The food is awsome and if you really want a great steak cooked the way you want this is the place to be. (Best New York Strip I have had in a very long time aged to perfection.) The portions size were good we order Jumbo combo, along with the Hard Rock Nachos and Tenders which was more than enough for our party of 6. Oh try the california burgers you might want to share. (a bit pricey 13.95 but worth every bite)
Also outstanding drink menu.

Happy New Year to all.

Stopped in the Hard Rock on the way home from Orlando just to get a quick simple snack on the way home and we shared Chicken Nachos and Fried Cheese sticks, Chips were stale chicken was old and dried out very little cheese tiny cup of salsa. Everything about them were terrible. Cheese sticks were all breading with a tiny amount of cheese and over cooked and very tuff. Complained to the server and he said he was very sorry it had been an off day in the kitchen. Did not offer to do anything. Did not offer to replace them or offer something else. I have eaten at many Hard Rock cafe's all over the world and have found almost all of them very good and consistent. This one in Tampa is just terrible. Honestly how hard is it to make good chicken nachos.

Whenever I travel, I look for local Hard Rocks. The one inside the Tampa Hotel/Casino was my 59th different HR location to visit.

The centerpiece of this location was a stage for live acts.

It is one of the smaller Hard Rocks I have seen. There were a few interesting pieces of memorabilia, but I not too impressed with this one.

The food is the usual Hard Rock fare, but the service is friendly and attentive.

The café had just opened when I was there and the place was packed. Located inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, this café is one of only a handful of Hard Rock Cafes that feature a live band. The food is more comfort than gourmet, but the ambience is great!

Hard Rock Cafes do not take reservations so plan to get there and wait at least 30 minutes, (likely more) before getting a table. Since you will have to wait, you can gamble in the hotel’s casino or have a cocktail at the lobby bar in the hotel.

When I asked for a table for six I was told the wait would be at least 1 hour. Fortunately for me, I have an All Access card from Hard Rock Café that gives me the first available table so I only waited 10 minutes for a party of 6 and we were seated stage front in a great table. If you plan to visit more than one Hard Rock Café while on vacation go to the Hard Rock web site and request an All Access Card.
