This was my Brazilian steakhouse experience. Everything was so delicious. The salad bar was amazing, especially the lobster bisque!

Bring an appetite and prepare for a red meat overload. This place has to be experienced at least a couple of times a year. If your table tag is face-up on the green side, the gauchos will descend on you with beef, lamb, pork, chicken, sausage of every cut and desired doneness and won't stop until you turn that tag over. One of the nice "frustrations" here is that they offer one of the best salad bars in the world. But if you take too many trips to the veggies, you will never do justice to that gaucho meat army. There is a good wine selection to go with all that meat and the desserts looked good, but we never have room for them. Hey, we know what our job is here - carnivores of the month!

We had a group gathering of 10 for a birthday here. Our party arrived and we promptly seated. As we sat down, they gave black napkins to those wearing dark colored pants. It was a nice detail to remember/acknowledge.
The server took our drink orders and explained about the salad bar and how the meats were served with skewers. Pretty informative, very nice server.
The salad bar is wonderful. Attention to detail was noted. They have very nice selections of cheese, breads, salad, and individual items shrimp, marinated mushrooms and dressings.
They have some hot items also. They had lobster bisque that was very tasty, and potatoes au gratin were very creamy/cheesy.
While we were visiting the salad bar they brought these freshly baked bread balls. Hot and yummy.
They have this red/green card setup. Red no more meat/Green bring more. They come around pretty regularly with the meat. Oh it is tasty.
Your table server will also bring servings of mashed potatoes and fried plantains. The fried plantains are a pallet cleaner they are a little sweet with lots of cinnamon. I enjoyed them.
The meats! All I can sway is wow. I think there were 4 different cuts of beef, sirloin, shank, rib, filet, also there are sausage, and lamb and veal.
It was truly a wonderful gastronomic experience of food. Looking to to returning.

My wife and I went to the Texas de Brazil restaurant for a late lunch on a Saturday. When we arrived at 2pm, only a few tables were taken. Over the next hour the restaurant filled up almost to capacity. The décor was very nice and at first I felt a bit underdresssed in my shorts and sport shoes.
The buffet bar had many different choices of salads and cheeses. There were also rice, black beans, sausages and bacon a lobster bisque and other dishes. Desert was a separate order. The chefs brought 8 different types of meats to the tables. I especially loved the top sirloin. It was lightly browned, very tender, available from medium to well done and tasted great! Other meats that I remember were flank steak, lamb, and two types of chicken.
Long story short: the restaurant was well worth the $60 before tip and I would definitely go there again.

We visited Texas de Brazil and it is a well decorated comfortable restaurant. The meats are wonderful and the servers come around often enough that you should never have to look for anyone. This was a nice experience, but it was expensive which will limit future visits.
