Description: Enjoy waterfront drinks, tapas and our delicious Spanish/Cuban cuisine at the Columbia Cafe in the Tampa Bay History Center on the Tampa Riverwalk. The Cafe proudly serves locally brewed craft beers on tap. We offer a full bar, and serve lunch and dinner daily. Live music Friday and Saturday nights on our outdoor, canopy covered waterfront patio bar. Located next to the Amalie Arena, and walking distance along the Tampa Riverwalk from the Marriott Waterside Hotel, Embassy Suites, the Florida Aquarium and the Tampa Convention Center. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Guests can dine inside at a scaled-down version of the original mahogany bar at our sister restaurant, the Columbia in Tampa's historic Ybor City, built more than a century ago in 1905 by the Brunswick Company. If you're boating, we invite you to dock at Garrison Channel outside the Tampa Bay History Center at one of eight tie-ups.

Nice place for a relaxing meal with a view. Ate outside and enjoyed the River Walk view with friends. The Cuban sandwich is my favorite and they do it right. Simple fare not a bad price.
Within walking distance of the Marriott Waterside....

First off. We sat for while before our server came to our table. Even though he had seen us sitting at the table. When he did finally come. We had to wait for our drinks. Then for him to bring a menue. And then had to wait for him to come back to take our order. And we ended up waiting almost a half an hour before he brought our meal. And we even had to call him. To refill our drinks.

We really enjoyed this experience. The 1905 salad was unique and yummy. We both had Cuban sandwiches, which I've never seen in Cuba. There is a history to this sandwich which reflects the immigration and history of this area. Cuban coffee was very good. Give it a try!

Cuban sandwiches to die for. Very authentic. Drinks made table side, very cool carved bar with good atmosphere. The natural lighting in this restaurant is amazing. Highly recommend. Wait staff polite and helpful.

We were here on a beautiful February evening; not too hot, no mosquitos and not too cold. We only saw the patio area, but it was great to face the water and the Riverwalk area. Food was great and inexpensive and the Sangria was excellent. There was a one woman singer/band that entertained us the whole evening; it was a great place to end our evening and within walking distance to our hotel.
