We were going to a hockey game at the Tampa Bay Forum. Once before we went to the Chanelside area and the restaurants were packed and noisy. This time we walked along the river behind the Forum and we found the Columbia Cafe which is in the History Museum building.
Our waiter was very friendly and helpful considering he had a lot to manage. We were on the outside deck which is very pleasant in the nice weather. They have lots of wonderful choices on the menu and the prices seem to be very reasonable for this part of town.
I'd definitely go again, especially if I was going to the museum or to an event at the Forum. It's nice to walk along the river front before or after your meal. Lots of interesting people watching while eating too.
