Description: Enjoy waterfront drinks, tapas and our delicious Spanish/Cuban cuisine at the Columbia Cafe in the Tampa Bay History Center on the Tampa Riverwalk. The Cafe proudly serves locally brewed craft beers on tap. We offer a full bar, and serve lunch and dinner daily. Live music Friday and Saturday nights on our outdoor, canopy covered waterfront patio bar. Located next to the Amalie Arena, and walking distance along the Tampa Riverwalk from the Marriott Waterside Hotel, Embassy Suites, the Florida Aquarium and the Tampa Convention Center. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Guests can dine inside at a scaled-down version of the original mahogany bar at our sister restaurant, the Columbia in Tampa's historic Ybor City, built more than a century ago in 1905 by the Brunswick Company. If you're boating, we invite you to dock at Garrison Channel outside the Tampa Bay History Center at one of eight tie-ups.

whatever you have heard about the food at Columbia Café is true.....very tasty. the Original 1905 Salad was delicious and plenty. the Cuban Sandwich was very good. I enjoyed the Empanada de Pollo.....but the piece de resistance is dessert.....the Flan is terrific but the White Chocolate Bread Pudding is a bit of heaven.

Glad we did some research and found this place. The food was excellent, the portions huge. We each had Cuban sandwiches and the 1905 salad. For dessert, the white chocolate bread pudding was worth leaving room for. Service was friendly. A very relaxing lunch by the water.

Our group of 8 enjoyed our meals at Columbia Cafe in Tampa's channelside area. The food was very good. The wait staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. The prices were in line with other restaurants in the area. We were seated outside on a beautiful sunny day with a nice breeze coming off the water. I had the region's specialty cuban sandwich which was very good. My wife and I had mojitos that were very tasty and refreshing.

Two small issues. They ran out of the pulled pork for the sandwich and 2 of the bills were incorrect. The bills were corrected quickly and a good time was had by all. Everyone in our group of 8 enjoyed their meal.

and all said they would dine at Columbia Cafe again and would recommend it to friends.

Having been to 2 Columbia restaurants it's hard to pick the best. This is very modern and has a great view. A the cuban sandwich, a must for a trip to Tampa. But the salad was the bigger hit!

This one is good but you should go to original one in Ybor City. The food is good. You should try the CAVA Sangria made with fresh fruit and champagne and Spanish Brandy.

A great treat at any of the Columbia Restaurant locations. On other trips, we have gone to the original restaurant in Ybor City. The riverwalk one is as good as well.
