Owner description: There is not a better time to be had in Tampa. Come and experience the fun and adventure to be had riding your very own Segway I2 personal transporter through beautiful downtown Tampa and its surrounding islands. Admire the sun setting over the water, dolphins playing and even a few celebrity homes as you whiz about on a Segway personal transporter.

I bought through Groupon on a few different occasions & had a blast every time.
1st Reason to do Magic Carpet Glide - Segways are AWESOME!!!
2nd - Every tour guide was entertaining.
3rd - The people who work there are friendly & cool.
4th - Even if you are familiar with the city you are doing the tour in, your gonna learn & see new things.
5th - In case you missed the #1 reason, Segways are AWESOME!!!

This is your chance to ride a segway! Very easy for all types and ages of people. Super fun!The leader gives you a brief instruction and then you take off from Channelside down the riverwalk past the convention center with lots of scenery and on to Curtis Hixon park. If you are lucky an event or concert will be taking place. You can stop and get a drink or vendor food here or eat at Channelside on your return. You may have the option of continuing your ride by the Henry B Plant Museum at University of Tampa or the Hyde Park area. Travel light - some of the segways have a pouch to carry a camera or small bag on the front, but most do not and you want your hands to be free. Very fun! We have also done St. Pete which was great and heard they are opening Tarpon Springs as well - yeah for the sponge docks! We'll be on the look out for a Groupon which is a great way to experience this trip for the first time.

What a great way to learn about the city of Tampa! Tom, our tour guide was great. We had a brief instruction on how to operate the segway before we left for the tour and the fun was on. Would highly recommend this tour!

We had taken a tour of St Petersburg (where we live) a few months ago with this company and had a great time. Shannon encouraged us to visit Tampa and take the tour there. From across the bay we did not did not expect much from Tampa (bay rivalry!). But we were very impressed and will happily return. Our guide Andy was terrific. We wish him well as he begins medical school this summer.

Our guide, Tom, took us on a wonderful Segway tour of Tampa. He was very thorough and patient with our group as we learned how to ride and maneuver the Segway's. They are a blast to ride, so much easier than I thought they'd be! We toured the Riverwalk down to Bayshore and into University of Tampa before coming back through downtown. Tom has an extensive knowledge of the history and fun facts that he tells us along the way. I highly recommend this tour and can't wait to do another Segway tour in future travels based on my enjoyment of this tour.
