My 1st mistake was to no have or know about TRIPADVISOR. check in was ok. Tub was UGLY. No baths only showers. Then the wet dog smell came two days later after a heavy rain. So i bought some Frebreeze. The next morning i noticed bite marks on my legs and the FLEAS. Went to desk all they did was move us to another room. Bath tub was also ugly. Called customer service 1-800 and told them.they NEVER got back to us.

Full disclosure, I stayed at this Motel 6 in February 2010, and it was decent, and the price was good, so I had no reservations (no pun intended) about staying there again. What a difference a year makes. The grounds were not kept up; the stairs had cracks and missing pieces of concrete, railings were loose. Light covers were broken or had cracks. Cobwebs everywhere you looked, garbage cans overflowed by each night. Elevator was filthy.

The room itself had a moldy smell, the carpet was dirty, the bed mattress was about as thin as a 2x4. The blanket had burn holes and the bedspread looked dingy/dirty. The television was covered in dust and dirt and something sticky on the screen in one corner, and the plastic was cracked in one corner. I was staying for five nights, no maid service the first morning, had to ask for clean towels. Was placed in a room next to the elevator shaft, which ran all night long and was loud. People up all night walking outside and on the floor above. Trucks idling all night in the parking lot on the side facing my room, very noisy. Not enough parking for vehicles. Pool and pool area looked clean, but too cool for anyone to use, so it was closed.

If you want to use their WiFi internet, it costs $3 per 24 hour period. A shame when almost all other hotels/motels offer it for free.

The front desk staff was very friendly, credit for that. But I almost feel sorry for them, having to work in a nasty arm pit like this Motel 6.

I have stayed in plenty of Motel 6's, and this was by far my worst experience of any. A shame, since only a year ago it was a decent, clean, well kept up place. I will not be staying at this Motel 6 ever again, and will not recommend it to anyone.

I am not someone with a grudge against this Motel 6 or the chain as a whole, I usually have good experiences with Motel 6. I just felt this review needed to be written, thanks.

this is a motel that could be a decent motel 6 if the owner cared about it.
the front desk personnel were always helpful and polite, and housekeeping was at least average. but the owner needs to replace the furniture in the room- my room had a box spring mattress that was filthy, torn apart and needed to be burned. the mattress was flat and also needed to be repalced. the other furniture was damaged as well. also i had to kill ladybugs that were flying around the room every day during my 3 day stay. the blanket was dirty and had burn holes in it.
on the positive side, the walls and carpeting were somewhat clean as was the grounds. there was traffic noise as with most motels sited on highways.
the grounds were quiet and seemed safe.
