I've been here several times with company from out of town. The tours are so informative and the love and care they show for these big cats is tremendous. A definite "must see". It is well worth the entrance fee.

This is a marvelous sanctuary The staff are fantastic and share the information regarding the wonderful Big Cats they are guardians of - Heaven will have special places for the founder and staff for these PRECIOUS creatures

First the bad. There is an unbelievable bureaucratic time consuming process to get in -- you'd think you were gaining access to Ft Knox gold. Secondly, the pitch as you go from animal to animal is excessively preachy and repetitive about mistreatment, etc, etc. And third they are hard to see behind the double wire screens and the 1 o'clock tour finds most of the cats sleeping.

On the positive side, they have a wide variety of cats over a fairly large area and great care is taken to ensure they do not get too contaminated by human contact. The place is exceptionally clean without the typical zoo odors and a good way to spend an hour and a half at $30 a person.

This is a wonderful attraction that everyone should visit if you are in the area. It is a haven for so many rescued Cats (Lions, Tigers, and every Cat know to man. They have been rescued from Circuses, personal homes where people thought it might be great to have a cat, until they found out how big they get and might harm others, etc. The fee for a tour is nominal and you should probably put aside about 90 minutes to go through it. Please go and have a great time.
