Great place to take in a game, or show. Plenty of room in the seats and aisles, lots of concessions. Open-air on both ends so usually have a breeze.

ProTip: Park at Al Lopez park or in someone's yard on the east side of the stadium for significantly less money than the stadium lots.

ProTip2: Seats on the west side of the stadium for afternoon events will be in the shade for the 2nd half.

I have been to RayJay for a few football games and other events (most recently Monster Truck). Compared to other stadiums, its just OK in my opinion. The food is all right, but expensive (as all stadiums are), but if you get in the Mezzanine level, you can eat at the nicer, indoor club level (its carpeted and basically, less crowded than the main level). As far as seats, we have pretty much sat on every level - there are three levels - club has the good restaurants and best views for the money, but they are really hard to come by. The third level is designed in a way that makes the seat views OK, but you really feel like you are "stacked" - kind of hard to explain, but the rows are very steep so you are up quite high and packed in tight with all the other people. FYI, the concession people do not visit the upper level all that often. I find the lower level seats to be out of my price range on every event I have been to. But my main complaint about this stadium is the parking - it is a total nightmare! Its fun to tailgate before an event, but it should probably be done after (in fact, I have seen many people do just that) - if you use the main lot, you will pay $20 on average and you simply cannot leave at the expected end (ie at the end of a quarter where the Bucs are getting creamed, after the last showdown at Monster Trucks) or you will wait forever to get out of the parking lot. They do an atrocious job of directing traffic out of the stadium, so you sit there with your car idling for what feels like hours, all the while not moving and literally seeing the exit. When we moved to FL 2 years ago, we had heard so many negative things about Tropicana field, I was surprised at how much I enjoy that venue over RayJay, but I do.

Seats were in the West Club section. We'd heard going to the game is better than watching on TV, and were not disappointed. We parked close for $25, but could have parked farther away for $10. The energy built as we entered the stadium. The sound of music, test-firing the cannons, the smell of BBQ pork nachos, black beans and rice, and mojo chicken was amazing! We got lunch and one of the "all you can drink" sodas with a commemorative cup for $12, and were set. They had soda and popcorn refill stations in the air conditioned club area, which was beautifully decorated with Tampa Bay Buccaneer colors and dedigns, including leather chairs and sofas. The big screen TVs had all the pregame shows, and free wi-fi helped us follow all the other news and sports info. The stadium workers were courteous as well. The pre-game was the best, with a military flyover, national anthem, and fireworks galore, and full use of the Bucs mascot, Captain Fear and the Cheerleaders. The crowd was lively and friendly. This stadium is amazing, as are Bucs games in person. We miss so much by watching on TV! This is must do for anyone who is a sports fan in the Tampa Bay area.

December 13th 2012, Pitt's last visit to Tampa before moving to the ACC and my first visit to the stadium. We were on the 50 yard line, 3rd level, 2nd row and it could not have been better seating to watch a football game. The stadium is clean, the staff was courteous and refreshments were plentiful for a lovely evening with my children and their spouses. Had a wonderful time cheering for our alma mater.
