“Interesting look into history”
Reviewed April 9, 2012

This was Tampa Bay Hotel in the 1890s and now part of University of Tampa. It is worth the trip if you like museums.

“Step back in time at this victorian hotel”
Reviewed March 24, 2012

Enjoy period decorations and furnishings from the19th and early 20th Century at the museum and tour the main floor of the hotel, much of which hasn't been changed. There is a $13 fee for the museum, but the main floor and the grounds are open to the public. Teddy & his Rough Riders stayed here as well as Presidents and Heads of State. The grounds are beautiful and offer many photo Ops. The grounds are situated on the River running through downtown Tampa, with several good eateries nearby.
