My husband and I chose the hotel because of its convenient location in South Tampa while we were house hunting and were not disappointed.
A supermarket and a gym are just around the corner and there are plenty of restaurant options. While we did not see any member of the staff during our whole trip (we spend most time out and about) we always got new towels and the room was cleaned every second day. The hotel does not have a reception with concierge service or something like this, but the owner can be contacted via a speaker system. We received our room key in a lockbox with a number combination, which was interesting but worked well.
There were not plenty of items in the kitchen (plates, spoons, glasses etc.), but we had two of each, so we got by. Apart from a microwave and stove in the kitchen the fridge had a little freezer unit, which was convenient as well. The free wireless internet and the flat screen TV/DVD worked excellently. We had two closets and a chest of drawers, so enough space to store our clothes and bags.
The hotel also had a laundry room (laundry machines with coins) with vending machines.
We thought the hotel was good value for money and would definitely stay there again.More
