Picked up 2 nights at this property through last minute on-line booking site. We were definitely given a smaller room, but didn't mind. The lobby is decent with starbucks, and the restaurant & bar are fairly standard hotel stock - a little pricey, but fine. Unfortunately housekeeping didn't make up our room our first day, and all the front desk could offer were fresh towels- kind of felt like we got the priceline-treatment, but still had a good stay. Pool is awkwardly located on the top floor of their parking ramp and surrounded by a concrete wall - not very warm and just sort of odd. It would appear that this hotel is used for tons of group meetings & stays and the staff were all great, efficient, and obviously used to dealing with large numbers of guests. Over all we got a great value for what we paid, but I wouldn't rush back at regular Doubletree rates.

I stayed at the Doubletree again this past weekend while visiting my daughter who attends FSU. This hotel is really top notch for guest service. They understand what travelers want and need and they just simply take care of you.

The hotel was extremely busy with various groups but it was super quiet for sleeping and did not seem overcrowded at all.

If I could change ONE little thing it would be to offer free internet access in the rooms.

I can't imagine I would ever stay any place other than here when in Tallahassee.

My organization will book this hotel almost solid for 3 straight days. We hold the same type of conference style meeting 4 times a year around the state every year. The meeting in Tallahassee is always to the most intense due to the high turnout of affiliated orgainzations based in our capitol. This year's meeting at the Doubletree we had the highest turnout of participants and guests that we have ever had. The Hotel Manager - John, Group Sales Manager - Krystal and Sports/Catering Manager - Amanda were on top of every issue - potential issues and showed tremendous foresight and courtesy to my participants. The level of service and willingness to accomodate everyone...far beyond normal expectations - served to give me the highest level of confidence that "all was under control." They showed immense patience and courtesy. There is a new standard at the Doubletree in Tallahassee and we will definately be back there again next year. A huge round of applause the the entire staff at this hotel! Thank you!

On an in-town stay for our anniversary we made a last-minute reservation at your property and were VERY happy with all the accommodations, but the service really stood out. In particular, Chris Beagle, our waitress for brunch the next morning was exemplary. Her attention to detail was impressive and she took the initiative to give us more than we'd asked for! This was the icing on the cake for a great weekend "staycation" and it made us realize we should dine at Jacob's even when we're not staying at the Doubletree. For anyone considering a stay here, don't hesitate: it's the best in Tallahassee!

The entire experience was great. From the views and condition of the rooms, to the excellent meal at the lobby to avoid having to go out in the weather. The valet was prompt, and the desk staff answered every question and provided every need. They were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, they seem to pull for Florida in college footaball.
