We had a wonderful visit over the 4th of July weekend. The home is well stocked with daily supplies and the owner is wonderful with quick replies to any questions or information about the area, Which was very helpful as this was our visit to Lake Talquin. I did have some issue with my boat and the staff at Ingram's Marina where very helpful getting me towed and on my way. Over all if your looking for quite place to relax in a charming atmosphere this is the place.
Very tranquil, extremely relaxing and mystical "white squirrels" scampered around...beautiful sunsets!!!
Very relaxing and everything you need ...like camping but in a home....no wifi, internet or cable. Personally I loved not being tied to any devices. My daughter got married during our stay and it made the perfect place for all the preparations (since we did all the decorations including the cake). Enjoyed canoeing, fishing and watching all the cardinals and the family of white squirrels. The grapefruit tree was ripening which was very tasty. Just disappointed in the yard not being fully fenced but we had leads and the mosquitoes were unreal til the weather changed towards the end of our stay. Recommend bringing lots of bug spray and citronella candles just in case....got to remember it's a lake house in Florida....

We had such a wonderful time. Lots of room for hosting. 3 outdoor entertaining spaces plus the dock. The provide everything you would have in your own home. Pots and pans, towels, extra blankets and sheets. There is a laundry room which was nice to help us pack light. We were traveling with a family of 4 plus 2 dogs. We loved fishing off the dock and watching the sun set. It was close to Wakulla river where we went on a boat tour and got to see manatees.
