We have had so many guests in the last 10 years tell us they will never stay in a hotel again, we appreciate the compliment! Proper bed and breakfasts - a better way to stay!

We stayed at "The Little English Guesthouse" recently and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. It is a comfortable and beautifully decorated place with countless little novelty items from England that add a flavor of English style and elegance. Thanks Tracy and Tom!

Had to travel through Tallahassee on our way to ft Walton and didn't want a hotel room. Love b and bs and was so happy to find an Englishwoman running this establishment. She was very kind and provided all that we needed for the night and next morning. We realized that she had a couple of dogs and, although she was hesitant to bring them over to the B&B side, we insisted! It became even more homey. Freddie and the older dog were so mannerly!! What a joy to stay there. Thanks, Tracey!

We appreciate your kind comments and understand why you didn't want to stay in a hotel room... proper bed and breakfasts are so much better! We only allow our dog to enter the bed and breakfast when specifically invited by all of the guests, as we don't want anyone with allergies or a dislike for dogs to be displeased. He was delighted to be invited, and of course, happy to receive petting!

My son and I stayed here and found it to be a one of a kind. The inn-keepers have paid considerable attention to detail in making evert aspect of these rooms into a place where smiles and comfort are plentiful and worries and stress are quickly forgotten. I liken the experience to visiting your favorite relatives out in the English countryside: welcome, comfortable, at ease, family. What a wonderful time. Thank you Ms. Tracy........David&Jerry Johnson Range, AL

Room Tip: London room: The best sleep I've had in many years....thank you!!

We're so glad you enjoyed a proper nights' rest! We've found our Florida State parents enjoy staying here with their adult children - a quiet place far from the maddening crowds of downtown, even though downtown is only 10 minutes away. We look forward to seeing you again next time you're in our lovely city.

I stayed here for one week while taking my daugher to FSU and it was fabulous!! Tracy was welcoming and always there to take care of my needs. The house is so charming and the room was charming and very clean. It was great to stay in the homey bed and breakfast compared to a hotel and I really felt at home. Tracy always had food in the refrigerator and breakfast in the morning and asked what I would like for the next day. To top things off, it was very reasonably priced. Great stores in the area too including Fresh Market, an incredible Publix with "to go" meals, great retail stores including TJMax, and excellent restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Book in advance! She is well known !!

We made a slight detour to stay one night at this bed and breakfast on our way from Atlanta to Orlando. It was easy to find - and we were travelling the traditional way with a map rather than GPS. It's in a very leafy area, well set back from the road.

Tracey was very welcoming - a pot of tea served in a tray was a welcome treat for a Brit away from home. We stayed in the larger London room, which is probably worth paying the extra 20 bucks for. The bed really is king size and very comfy, and there was room to walk around, although only one chair to sit in. The room was discreetly cooled (we were there in the August heat) central air from vents in the floor. The shower has good pressure and there are plenty of towels. We enjoyed just hanging out in the room for a few hours, playing music and reading.

Some people have complained about the breakfast - we can't understand why, as it's more than advertised, with lots of lighter, healthy-eating options. We had fresh melon and blueberries, juices, bagels and cream cheese, and there was more - yogurt, cereals, toast and jam. It kept us feeling full for 5 or 6 hours.

If you're in or nearby Tallahassee, it's definitely worth staying here.

Room Tip: Pay the extra 20 buck for the London Room.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Little English Guesthouse during FSU Orientation while Tropical Storm Debby was in Town. Even though the winds were howling and thunderstorms rolled through we could not hear a thing in this quiet retreat. Tracey was waiting for us and greeted us warmly. Tracey has lots of interesting pictures, horse brass and china from England and it brought back memories of our stays in B&B's in York and Edinburgh some years ago. The Bed was comfortable. The Shower with spa jets was a welcome sight at the end of the long days on FSU's Campus. The room was the most quiet place that we have ever stayed in. We highly recommend Tracey and her Little English Guesthouse...so much so we have just booked again in August. Cheers! T. Fowler Palm Harbor FL

We appreciate your detailed review - and that you return again and again - the highest compliment to any public lodging establishment! The Little English Guesthouse is most certainly a quiet retreat and respite from the howling winds of the weather, and the howling of the university campus too!
