This is free. You must go to this old building where it all got started. I enjoyed the different rooms and on top of it all it was free.

Make time to visit the old Capital building. The self guided tour is really interesting and worthwhile. There's a real sense of history and the architecture is lovely. Good for families with school age kids. Best of all, it's free!

This is a great tour. Take time out of your day and bring the kids. Specifically if they are middle school or older. They, and you, will learn a lot and enjoy the day.

The new building is disappointing. This one is nice. It really resembles what the State of FL was all about in terms of government and your are allowed to walk around and see plenty of interesting material. In addition, the building from the outside is worth several family pictures.

It was a step back in time to the early history of Florida and was educational. The building has been restored to it's original luster and the self tour is informative. They even covered the election process and how the votes are counted. It was worth the time it took to see the entire museum.
