“Don't miss out on this gem”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

We were on our way home from WDW and their fabulous restaurant ( CA Grill, Artist Point, Citricos , Yachtman...to name a few).
A gentleman at the liquor store recommend A La Provence.
The food was every bit as delictible and any of the meals we had that week. The cheese board was the best we ever had anywhere. We told out waiter, Phil, the kind of cheese we liked and to please choose for us. It was perfect
We both had lamb, rack of lamb and the shank. The were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The accompaniments were also perfect. We both said if we were at home we would have chewed the bits of meat off the bone.
My only regret was not trying the deserts, because I'm sure they must be heavenly.
The decor is lovely and our waiter, Phil, was spot on.
It is located in a strip mall and is probably missed by anyone just driving around looking for a good place to eat. Don'tisd out on the gem.

“Expensive but worth it.”
Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

My wife and I returned after about six months and enjoyed it as usual. We both started with the tomato caprese, a mixture of diced tomato and herbs that is delicious. We followed that with the trout which was excellent, a cheese plate, and finally a soufflé which was a very tasty but light finish to a great meal. The wine list is reasonably extensive and fairly priced. One of the nicest aspects of this elegant place is the art work gracing the walls. The only thing I think they could improve is the finer aspects of service. For example, our server did not crumb the table before desert, removed the dishes of one of us before the other was finished, and was inconsistent with the placement of flatware. This is a fairly expensive restaurant but well worth it.

“Was a Birthday Surprise!”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

Surprised to say the least. The ambiance and service class was impeccable. Appetizer (Escargot), Entree (Duck with Balsalmic Fig sauce), Dessert (Grand Marnier Souffle) and the finale was my Birthday cake. Home-made Spice cake with Penuche icing. All was done to perfection. My Beautiful Fiancee saw to it that I had an unforgettable evening. We will be returning OFTEN!

“We eat dinner here at least once a month”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

It is located a distance from us, but is well worth the drive. I always get their chopped salad . It is delicious. Their seafood is fresh from Southern Seafood across the parking lot. All their dishes are unique and wonderful. Service is always excellent. The owner Bill makes everyone feel welcomed. Great Tallahassee restaurant.
