Owner description: The mirrored walls of the Tallahassee Automobile Museum enclose more than just automobiles! This 100,000 sf. facility houses cars, trucks and memorabilia of all kinds. In addition to the antique cars, muscle cars, concept cars, and trucks -- check out the eclectic collection of Steinway pianos, Remington sculptures, Case knives, Barbie dolls, boats, boat motors, children's pedal cars, and die-cast toys. Journey through history with Native American artifacts, firearms, antique cash registers, pocket watches, salt-cellars, baby bottles, silver spoons, baseball cards, antique golf balls and clubs, 100-year-old brass-bladed fans, art objects from Thailand, neon signs, stained glass, a horse from a carousel, a children's barber chair shaped like an airplane and much, much more. Part shrine, part history lesson, part pack-rat's paradise, part garage and part art gallery -- except, in this case, the art has four spotless wheels and can go from 0 to 60 faster than a Cezanne can. It's truly an amazing museum of American history.

now I like cars as much as any guy and they had a few but the rest of the place was like a "Hoarders Nightmare". I think they cleaned out a few bankrupt flea markets and put everything on display and not very well displayed at that.
don't waste your time and money, unless you have more than you need or maybe it's a rainy day and you've nothing else to do for & hour or two.
sorry I didn't get a Heads/up before we went.

The owner jokes that the museum grew out of his wife's insistence that he get rid of the collections that had overflowed their garage! Relocated from a shopping center up the highway, this property was constructed specifically to house these collections and is SO "green" that they sell back electricity to the local power company.

This is a lifelong collector of all kinds of cool things, from antique cash registers to toys, railroad stuff, Case knives, and the real draw - the CARS! Such a guy place, but I truly enjoyed rambling around in all the neat stuff.

This is a great way to spend a few hours on an afternoon. There is certainly a lot to see, and much Ooo-ing and Ahh-ing in the car collection.

If you are in to cars from Batman's to most any vehicle you should stop hby this attraction. Mr. Moore's collection is very extensive and worth the price.

What is really great about this place is there is something for everyone. My father and uncle enjoyed the endless rows of antique and classic cars, while I was more interested in the Steinway pianos, old toys and other memories. There were also plenty of old knives and guns, and all this is just the first floor.
By the time we got upstairs, my elderly uncle was tired out, so we didn't really get a good look. There were many motorcycles, bat mobile, more cars and other stuff up there. The museum was well air conditioned and hardly anyone was there.
This was very interesting, a pleasant way to spend some time, and definitely well worth the price of admission.

It was a little bit pricey for what it is. It is just room after room of old cars. Fun of course if that is your thing but not much else there for guests that tire quickly of cars.
